Duties and responsibilities

1. Serve as project representative to all stakeholders including leadership,


members and staff of the Balochistan provincial assembly

2. Coordinate and contribute to the design of the project activities within the
province

3. Coordinate with project Head office

4. Responsible for project monitoring and evaluation in the province

5. Develop strategic linkages with key external institutions and organization


that can assist parliamentary support initiatives

6. Collect and disseminate best practices and lessons learned from provincial
activities

7. Manage the parliamentary information and technology resource center


facility at the Balochistan provincial assembly
Duties and responsibilities

• Prepare preliminary plan and budget of all related projects activities by


conducting a thorough community needs assessment;

• Check the project activities and make sure the implementation


process is in compliance with the plan and guidelines;

• Represent PAOBK in coordination meetings with other NGOs and local


authorities or delegate responsibilities to other colleagues if needed;

• Compile project activities reports from districts and submit them to


the Project Unit

• Plan the procurement and ensure that Procurement Officer has placed
needed material with the help of relevant project staff;

• Solve the problems, if any, of project staff with community and


authorities with the help of the Social Organizer;

• Oversee the correct use of assets including vehicles/equipment, and


make proper inspection of equipment on a periodic basis;

• Oversee proper use of funds and closely monitor cash flow and
expenditure recording;

• Closely observe community contribution to ADP Uruzgan and keep


track of figures and keep the CDCs/PDC informed by the project
activities in progress and completed;

• Supervise and make sure that the program is running smoothly and
there is close internal cooperation among all staff members;

• Follow TLO rules/regulations and guidelines of implementation;

• Ensure all progress reports are prepared on time and forwarded to the
Project Manager;

• Hold project management meetings on a monthly basis or as required


prepare minutes of meetings and submit them to the project manager;

14. Participate in meetings of coordination, strategy, operation,


regulation etc. in TLO as well as with other agencies;

15. Represent the ADP


W Uruzgan project at provincial level to participate in provincial
sectorial work group (SWG) and provincial development council (PDC)
meetings;

16. Represent the ADP Uruzgan project in joint monitoring visits with
ARD and line departments;

17. In collaboration with ADP Uruzgan technical staff, ensure necessary


program planning, development and implementation at provincial
level;

18. Actively participate in the ADP


W Uruzgan annual project work planning;

19. Plan and facilitate workshops and trainings at the provincial level
based on ADP Uruzgan's work plan;

20. Lead the development of ADP Uruzgan provincial progress reports


and submit them to the project manager based on a proper reporting
schedule;

21. If requested, provide input to the development of project


communication material such as briefs, stories, press releases, etc;

22. Identify challenges in the coordination with partners at provincial


level and identify proactively appropriate solutions.

The Provincial Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day management of Vouchers for
Reproductive Health operation at provincial level. S/he will make decisions to address
implementation issues encountered within provincial level and be responsible for overall project
management of this assignment including, project planning, implementation, reporting, and
monitoring and evaluation.
The Provincial Coordinator carries out his/her functions under the direct supervision of the
Executive Director and in his absence, of the Project Officer.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Management of Vouchers for Reproductive Health Team within the assigned province;
- Be responsible for overall project management of this assignment including, project planning,
implementation, reporting and monitoring and evaluation;
- Make decisions to address implementation issues encountered within this scheme;
- Supervise all project activities and staff in this scheme;
- Facilitate, coordinate and solve problems with hospitals, ODs, PHD, and stakeholders;
- Attend monthly meeting of Voucher Management Team and AFH-HQ;
- Attend/organize monthly, quarterly, and annually meeting/workshop with hospital, OD, PHD,
and stakeholder;
- Create grass root networks with Community Based Agent in order to ensure that all poor
women is need can receive support from Vouchers for Reproductive Health scheme and to
promote the use of public health and private services for both the vulnerable poor and non
poor;
- Ensure the accountability with staff, Executive Director, and Voucher Management Team;
- Facilitate and coordinate monitoring and supervision from OD, PHD, stakeholders, Voucher
Management Team/EPOS, KfW, and DPHI/MOH;
- Provide timely monthly, quarterly, annually reports to Executive Director, Voucher
Management Team, donors and stakeholders;
- Facilitate and coordinate for internal and external audit from AFH-Head Quarter, Voucher
Management Team/EPOS, and private auditor;
- Be a representative of Project Officer in this assignment.
- Knowing and/or having worked in one of the target province is an asset.
