Dear Parent/Guardian

My name is Heather Coulter, a student intern from Geneva College working with Mr. · · . 1 and
Mrs. r ... .- at C · _ - . . .? Elementary for the past few months. After receiving your approval to work
with T· · . on her reading skills, it has been a delight to work with her. She actively participated in the
reading lessons and had a positive attitude towards learning.

We have been working on her overall reading skills, while focusing on reading fluency and
comprehension skills. T , has worked hard, and her efforts have shown . She has a great motivation to
read and hear stories read aloud . She has learned comprehension skills that aid her ability to understand
stories she reads in class. She has learned fluency skills to aid in her reading accuracy- such as encoding
and decoding words. T '·. is eager to learn and to participate, and always has a positive attitude.
