Hi, I am Myah Malchow. I am a hard-working individual who is up for any challenge. I am responsible
individual; I like to stay organized to help me finish my tasks quickly and efficiently and I respect
everyone who I encounter.

EXPERIENCE
2015 – PRESENT
RIDES CONSSESSIONS, ABERDEEN PARKS AND REC.
I am responsible for the cleanliness and operation of all of the amusement rides out in Storybook
Land at Wylie Park. I am responsible for myself, co-workers, and the many people who come out
to the park.

2018 – 2019
REFEREE, BROOKINGS SCHOOL DISTRICT
I refed middle school volleyball in the fall then in the winter I had refed middle school and
freshman basketball.

09/2018– 09/2018
GYM SUPERVISOR, BROOKINGS PARKS AND REC.
I ran a volleyball clinic for the youth within Brookings, SD who wanted to participate in the sport
of volleyball. I taught them the basic skills along with some fun drills to be able to work on their
new skills.

8/2019-10/2019
ASSISTANT 8TH GRADE VOLLEYBALL COACH, BROOKINGS SCHOOL DISTICT
I was the 8th Grade B assistant coach. I was responsible for running practices per the head
coaches practice plan along with coming up with drills to keep the girls interested in playing
along with learning the skills and strategies of the game.

12/2019-2/2020
ASSISTANT 8TH GRADE BASKETBALL COACH, ABERDEEN SCHOOL DISTRICT
I was asked to be a substitute coach for the B and C teams when one of the coaching staff
members had gone on maternity leave. My responsibilities as an assistant coach was to help
devise a practice plan along with execute drills on my own with a specific group of players during
practice.

5/2019-PRESENT
ASSISTANT MANAGER, WYLIE PARK CONCESSIONS
Within my fifth and sixth year at Wylie Park I was asked to be the assistant manager for the Non-
Foods Departments (rides, campground, concessions). While preforming this job I oversee all
 staff out at the park along with problem solving issues that arise during the day.

3.9 GPA, Honor Roll Freshman-Senior year. Varsity athlete (Basketball-4 yrs, Volleyball- 2 yrs,
Track- 3yrs), State Basketball Champion (2016,2018), FCA member, Spirit of Eagle recipient
(Sports award), All-State academic (Volleyball, Basketball, Track).

ACTIVITIES
I am very passionate about academics and athletics. I believe that students who are involved in extra-
curricular activities will learn more about teamwork, responsibility, and motivated than others who
aren’t as involved, whether it is in athletics, the fine arts, debate, clubs, etc. I want to be able to shape
the minds of today’s youth and teach them lessons that cannot just be learned within the classroom, I
want to be a positive role model for my students.
