1. What will be our challenge today if network was not developed?

As a part of the Generation Z, I can say that the absence of network or the modern technology would
bring great challenges in our lives for this development of network has made our living a lot more
bearable and convenient especially during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic- if this happened without
the mere presence of any network, we cannot conduct online classes as we are conducting these days.

Without these networks being developed, I am pretty sure that we’ll find it hard to communicate
with one another and we won’t be able to do business and entrepreneurial matters as easy as it is
just like what most people are engaged nowadays. Education will surely be poor without it and progress
of economy will also suffer. Life would be miserable if we’ll imagine, there would be no online
shopping, and no online transfer of money, no entertainment, no extra storage, no immediate
updates, keeping records and accounting files would be done manually and even other tasks. That’s
beyond imaginable, and nobody might wish to experience those.

2. What are the disadvantages of “file transfer” today?

When talking about the disadvantages of “file transfer,” what comes first into my mind is
SECURITY, it is a serious matter here especially when confidential information about clients for example
is at stake, users don’t usually have the access to encrypt nor protect the data that is why sometimes, data
are being stolen and are used for unethical purposes. Also, it requires more effort in terms of
programming and a lot of memory in order to make it work efficiently.

Virus scanning here is not easy, and to take this seriously, this is risky due to the rise of that
“ransomware virus”, there may also be several attacks during transfer like spoof attacks nor port
sealing. And to add, if you don’t have an IT background, you’ll find it really hard to use “file
transfer” in your activities plus it is also expensive and a bit old. These are just some of the
disadvantages I can observe, reasons for us to practice care in everything we are doing especially through
wireless networks and on the line.

3. What are the uses of wireless network?

This is now widely used for locating and tracking, for strengthening security, for backing-up data,
for accessing the internet and the worldwide web, for connecting various devices as well as sending
messages and reaching out to our loved ones wherever in this planet they are. The existing satellites
outside our planet are making it possible for us to use Global Positioning System (GPS) like when businesses
want to track their delivery vehicles, to locate their employees or when we want to know where our orders
from online shops are already brought. With security, net is also the reason for the use of the walkie talkies
which transmit and receives radio signals and may not have the same connection issues cellphones do, so
businesses decide to use these for their security guards and even employees for a faster communication within
the building; for accessing the internet, WWW and for storage through dropbox, google drive, icloud and the
like, many people are just enjoying its use without knowing that it is wireless network that makes it possible.

For connecting devices, there’s Bluetooth as another wireless technology which is now used to
connect phones to Bluetooth earphones/ air pods which is a safe option for drivers who wishes to receive or
even make calls while on the road, it is also used for transferring files and can also be connected to TVs,
speakers, another phone, cameras, computers, thermostats, for opening doors/elevators and such. Wireless
network is now being consumed by almost the whole world and there is no doubt that it is making businesses
and customers post, inquire online, and close deals for their products and services in a faster and easier
manner than ever before.
