When his mother Antonia would take him out for a walk he liked to go inside of the church and visit
Jesus and kiss the cross, he picked flowers to place the feet of Virgin Mary.

As a child he played with a computer. As a teenager, he matched senior students in this subject,
although he did not go on any computer courses. He taught himself entirely all the programs from
books. He programmed and created websites. All I can say is he was so talented and intelligent at young
age. He attains early maturity unlike normal teens. He was an average teen with an above-average knack
for computers.

2. As teenager, what did he do that made him the model of technology and internet users today?

He created a website presenting all the Eucharist Miracles of the world which what made him a role
model for the rest of internet users today is how he used these platforms to spread faith in God.

3. How can you use technology to share the good news about Jesus Christ with others?

Today we live in a digital age. Everything is digital. We have the internet. We have mobile devices.
Everyone has a screen. The internet is also a beautiful realm.  It’s a place where people gather to discuss
ideas. The internet is a place where Christians create websites, apps, and online Bibles to share the
truth.  It’s a realm that gives a voice to millions of bloggers.  It’s a hot bed of discussion, much of it
negative yes, but much of it also positive and productive. The internet is a vast network of ideas and
discussion.  These ideas come in many forms.  You have social media, you have blogs, search engines, all
of these lanes to navigate.  Within these endless pages live the chance to stand for Jesus Christ, and to
share his gospel with the world.  Imagine how many people you can reach!  These are not just
usernames, or meaningless entities; these are people who can be deeply influenced.

4. In what ways can you imitate the young spiritual life of Carlo Acutis today? 

Carlo Acutis was really inspiring and this young man from Italy reminds us that no matter your age, it’s
important to speak to your friends and family about God, always pray for God’s guidance, and attend
Sunday Mass weekly. He shows us that even the internet can be used to preach the Gospel with
devotion. By following his lead let us aim to keep God at the center of our lives, and to bring our family
and friends to Heaven with us as we journey towards our “one true home.”

please protect youth from the dangers present in our world today.
Be with them through sickness and health, sorrow and joy, loneliness and friendship, success and
failure.
