Medical Action Myanmar (MAM) is a medical aid organization, our mission is to improve access to quality
health care for all people in Myanmar. MAM provides large-scale access to prevention, diagnosis & treatment
of HIV, Malaria, Tuberculosis and we provide Basic Health Care. We train over 1800 volunteer Village Health
Workers in diagnostic testing and supply them with diagnostics and treatments. A basic health care package is
provided to deal with the most common diseases, including a referral system for complicated cases.
Furthermore we do screening and referrals of suspected TB cases and treatment follow-up of confirmed TB
cases. In terms of HIV prevention and treatment activities, MAM is running 10 HIV clinics in Yangon, Karen,
Mon and Kachin states. MAM employs over 700 staff in Myanmar.
We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic candidates for Logistic Officer position for strengthening PHC
program of Medical Action Myanmar (MAM) in Nan Yun Township, Sagaing region.
In Naga region, MAM provides health services to people living in remote villages through 215 VHWs and
medical mobile clinics led by Team Leaders (Medical Doctor/Helath Assistant).Health program includes
Malaria, TB, Maternal and Reproductive health services, Child health services and Nutrition.
Technical activities:
Fleet Management, Safety and Security
• To do fleet management and be responsible of maintenance and repair of the Yangon and field offices
vehicles, generators and other technical equipment
• Regularly checking that standard vehicles/motorbikes/generator/boat services are planned and
carried out, as well as daily
• Ensuring logbooks and vehicle equipment are kept up correctly.
• Ensuring the rational use of all vehicles and monitories equipment.
• Supervising and training drivers, ensuring the application of MAM rules.
• Well planning of Safety and security arrangement within organization
• To prepare a quarterly report on maintenance costs and fuel consumption of cars, motorcycles and
generators.
• To support to be conducted necessary safety and security awareness trainings in projects
• Need to provide necessary safety and security support for all MAM projects

• To manage maintenance and repair of the office, houses and warehouse compounds such as
electricity, internet connection and other daily issues
Assets Management
• To maintain MAM assets and properties
• To prepare asset report for timely submission
• Regularly checking assets update in online tracking system
• To make sure quarterly assets physical verification in the respective locations
• To check physically all inventories against project register
• To coordinate with Yangon assets team for annual donor report
Other Supervision
• To follow up the technical instruction of the Logistic Coordinator
• Supervise and provide training on logistic assistant and logistic staff in the field
• Perform any additional duties required by the immediate supervisor.
MAM requires:
To be successful in this role you must have:
Education: University Degree (or) relevant other study
Language: Local language, good in English is preferable
Experience: Experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management for international
organization
Skills: Experienced with Microsoft Excel and Word, Technical skills
Specifications: Highly motivated to learn, hardworking, flexible in working hours, able
to work independently. Local staff is preferable.
MAM offers:
• Salary range from 300,000 to 350,000 MMK depending on experience
• Participate in 13th month bonus;
• Up to one month salary in leave compensation;
