Description: EBSCO is the leading provider of research databases, e-journals, magazine subscriptions,
e-books and discovery service to libraries of all kinds.

Remote Access/Login Details:

II. SCIENCE DIRECT http://www.sciencedirect.com/

Description: Science Direct is Elsevier’s platform of peer-reviewed scholarly literature. It includes
thousands of books, journal articles, and other reference materials in the field of Physical
Sciences and Engineering, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities.

Registration: The domain (email) @adamson.edu.ph has been activated; this allows all email that is
registered with this Adamson domain to have remote access to SD.
1. Create a user profile (if you already have a user profile please skip to step 2.)
a. Open the ScienceDirect website http://www.sciencedirect.com/
b. Click Register (top right)
c. Enter details required and then click Create.
2. Activate your remote access
a. Open the activate access page by clicking
http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/activateaccess
b. Enter your company e-mail address and click continue. A confirmation email will be
sent.
c. Open the email and click the link to activate remote access
d. Enter Username and password and click sign in
3. You will now be able to access Science Direct from any device. Just open your browser,
go to www.sciencedirect.com and login with your e-mail address and password.

Description: Knovel is an engineering decision-support solution enabling engineers to confidently answer
technical questions drawing upon trusted data from more than 120 providers through a cloud-
based platform with powerful search and interactive analytical tools. Knovel provides a
searchable database of handbooks, data sets and reference sources in science, technology and
engineering.

Users can Remote-Register and Remote-Login, using your institutional Email Address:
a. Click on https://app.knovel.com/web/verify-access.v
b. Type in your institutional (university) email
c. Fill in registration form
d. Confirm the link in your email inbox.
e. Done!

V. Wiley Online Library https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/action/showPublications

Description: Multidisciplinary collection of online resources covering life, health and physical sciences, social
