The events that transpired in Samuel Adams: The Father of American Independence can

be directly and indirectly related to the world today. One aspect of the US government
today that can be traced back to the time of Samuel Adams is congress. The first and
second Continental Congress were the predecessors of Congress today, but had a
substantially smaller attendance than today. The delegates fram each state were just like
the congressmen that we elect every few years and both vote on rules and issues just like
today for the state they represent.
The Revolutionary War was also greatl influenced by Samuel Adams, he was a
catalyst for it. After winning the war, America was granted its freedom from England,
almost all freedoms we enjoy today can be linked back to the war.

There are some political aspects of the events in this time period that are the driving force
behind the occurences, rebellions were a major part of the american revolution. The
Boston Tea Party and the Boston Massacre are prime examples of the society's aspect of
the Revolution. the citizens of boston rebel against the tea act by throwing the boston tea
party. Also, citizens' attitude and rebellious behavior caused the "Boston Massacre"
which made many people want to be independent. The social aspects of the revolution are
showed in these rebellious activities.

The many political aspects of the events in this book greatly influenced the way they
unfolded.England's Parliament controlled the colonies without representation as Pat
Henry said. This type of governing was politically unfair to the american colonies as it
gave them no say in issues and laws proposed in Parliament. At this time, the King and
Parliament were in control of many colonies around the world, where as the American
colonies, politically had no control over anything and were completely dependent.

Religion was one of the main reasons the colonists left england, they were seeking
religious freedom. They did not want to be constrained to a certain religion in the
colonies either. Followers of the church of england were mostly loyalists for they were
not persecuted. Samuel adams was not a follower of the church of england, he was a
puritan just like many other supporters of independence. one aspect of religion at this
time was that it somewhat determined who you were loyal to in the colonies.

samuel adams was an advocate for the american revolution. he was involved in many of
the rebellious activities of the people of boston and all the colonies. Although we're not
sure of the extent of his involvement, samuel adams was a big contributor to the Boston
tea Party, a large rebellion that helped the revolution. Also, if it wasnt for him we would
not portray the shootings that took place in boston as the Boston Massacre. he was the
man who coined the idea and he knew it would make more colonists support the fight for
independence.
