WORK EXPERIENCE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for Business Plan development in line with the organizational
business generation targets.
Focal point of contact between the organization and clients – liaising with higher
management to provide input for strategic planning & decision-making.
Responsible to assure compliance to the bid selection, review and approval
process.
Responsible to ensure compliance to all the SOPs and processes of business
development.
Cold calling and setting up meetings with key persons of clients.
Maintain & establish healthy liaison with existing & potential clients in order to
acquire more business for respective Business Unit.
Perform market intelligence related to potential projects, competitors, and
other factors affecting Company’s business in order to formulate marketing
related strategies to acquire more business for the BU.
Attend Pre-bid meetings with clients in order to clarify the technical, commercial
and contractual ambiguities.
Conduct pre-bid site visits in order to check the site conditions and working
environment.
Post bid contractual and commercial negotiation with clients.
Obtain pre-qualification forms, prepare, submit and follow-up on all pre-
qualifications, enlistments, registrations to ensure Company’s eligibility to
participate in bidding.
Obtain feedback from clients after completion of the projects and share it with
higher management.
Maintain data of the Inquiries received and Sales Order formed against them in
SAP
Generate Monthly/Quarterly/Annual reports for the senior management/
Board’s review.
Write content for Descon’s newsletter/corporate communications, highlighting
the achievements of Business Unit.
