Journal Review. This Critical Journal Review is made to fulfill the completion of
assignments in the Advanced English course.

In writing the Critical Journal Review, the writer certainly cannot finish it
without other parties. Therefore, the authors would like to thank Rika, S.Pd., M.Hum,
as a lecturer who teaches Advanced English courses.

INTRODUCTION
1.1 Rationalize the importance of the CJR

Often times we are confused about choosing a journal reference for us to read and
understand. Sometimes we choose one journal, but the contents in the journal are
incomplete so that what we are looking for in the journal is not fulfilled. For example,
in terms of material analysis, a discussion of the Advanced English course.

Therefore, the author makes this Critical Journal Review to make it easier for
readers to choose journal references, especially in journals that discuss Pancasila
courses and provide knowledge to readers about the advantages and disadvantages of
the selected journal.

1.2 Purpose of Writing

The objectives of writing a Critical Journal Review are as follows :

1. To fulfill one of the assignments in the Advanced English course

2. To train themselves as students to be able to think critically in seeking
information from criticized journals.
3. To find out the weaknesses and strengths of a journal.
4. Adding insight into what a good journal looks like
5. To be more critical in responding to a journal in obtaining information.
6. To improve the reading quality of students

SUMMARY OF JOURNAL CONTENT
PRELIMINARY

Entrepreneurship is the most effective way in the midst of economic pressure

bigger and smaller jobs to revive people's economic life. Here are a few reasons it is
important to have an entrepreneurial spirit in Indonesia:

1) The number of employment opportunities is increasing

2) Types of employment are increasingly diverse
3) Reducing the unemployment rate
4) Reducing social illness in society
5) Improve economic welfare
6) Increase the economic level of a region
7) Increasing the economic stability of the Indonesian nation.

METHOD

This paper uses the literature review method to discuss the topic under study.
Literature review is intended to solve a problem that is at basically rests on a critical
and in-depth study of the library materials relevant. Literature review is carried out by
collecting data or information from various.

library sources needed as a source of ideas to explore thoughts or ideas new as

a basic material for deduction from existing knowledge, so that new theoretical
frameworks can be developed, or as a basis for problem solving. The library sources
studied in this paper are: books, research results, journals, and other scientific articles.
The steps for making a literature review are described as the following: (a) determine
the sources for literature review materials that are appropriate to the topic review of
this paper; (b) evaluating the content contained in the literature study sources set; this
section can contain matters relating to basic assumptions or facts that are deemed true
without verification.

LITERATURE REVIEW

Tradition

According to Wikipedia, tradition or custom is something that has been done

for since long and become part of the life of a group of people, usually from an same
country, culture, time, or religion. Tradition is a description of human attitudes and
behavior that have been in progress a long time and carried out from generation to
generation starting from the ancestors.

Entrepreneurship

The term entrepreneur was first coined by Richard Cantillon (1755) at the
time conducted research on entrepreneur's IQ. Entrepreneurship comes from French
namely "entreprendre" which means entrepreneur or undertake.

Public

Community is a unit of human life that interacts according to a customary

system certain customs that are continuous, and which are bound by a sense of
common identity. Continuity is a community unit which has four characteristics,
namely: 1) Interaction between its citizens, 2). Customs, 3) Continuity of time, 4)
Strong sense of identity that binds all citizens.

DISCUSSION

Every discussion about entrepreneurship or entrepreneurship provides a

variety definition. Entrepreneurship can be defined as entrepreneurial activity. There
are a lot of the definition of entrepreneurship, which in general terms,
entrepreneurship can be interpreted as an individual's ability to create economic
opportunities from a good business idea small scale as well as large scale. The spirit
of entrepreneurship for the community should be carried out by various good groups
government, academic institutions, and private agencies. Entrepreneur quantity needs
Indonesia is indeed very urgent. With the free trade that will occur In the next few

years, many and qualified entrepreneurs are needed to stem the rate of influence of
businesses and businesses from abroad.

BUILDING ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRADITION

Entrepreneurship Tradition in Family

Efforts to foster an entrepreneurial spirit since childhood are largely

determined by the education of both parents. Because the role system of parents is
very decisive in the family. Family has a very strong influence on a person's interest
in the world of entrepreneurship.

Entrepreneur Based Education

Entrepreneurship education can shape the mindset, attitudes and behavior of

participants students become a true entrepreneur (entrepreneur) so direct them to
choosing entrepreneurship as a career choice. Education will shape entrepreneurship
with increase knowledge of business and form psychological attributions as well self-
confidence, self-respect and self-efficacy.

Role of Government and Society in Entrepreneur

The government has made comprehensive efforts to improve and promote

entrepreneurship. In 1995 the Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 4 of 1995
concerning the National Movement to Socialize and Cultivate Entrepreneurship was
published (GNMMK). The follow-up to this gesture is quite resonant.

Entrepreneur and its role in the economy

If the dynamics of business economic activity can be maintained and even enhanced
for a long time, then this will be able to create a strong foundation for the country's
economic resilience against global economic fluctuations and crises (Z. Heflin
Frinces, 2004 and 2009) such as which happened in 1998 and 2008 to the present.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES OF JOURNAL

3.1 The Strengths Of Journal

The strength of this journal, namely :

1. This journal contains several opinions from experts. Such as: According to David
Mc Clelland, a country can be prosperous if it has at least 2% entrepreneurship
from its population. And, according to Soerjono Soekanto (2006), the notion of
society is the process of social interaction, a social interaction will not be possible
if it does not meet two conditions, namely social interaction and communication.
2. The use of language in this journal is quite easy to understand, even for common
people. Where the author can explain the contents of this journal using fairly
simple language.
3. Each explanation described by the author in the journals has a relationship
between the sub-explanations, namely from the introduction, method, literature
review, and discussion has a relationship with the journal title.

3.2 Weaknesses Of Journal

The weakness of this journal, namely :

1. In the abstract section of this journal, the author does not include an abstract
in English, and only writes in Indonesian. This makes readers who are not
proficient in Indonesian speaking unable to understand the (concise) content
of this journal from the abstract.
2. In this journal, the author does not include a suggestion and only writes a
conclusion.
3. In this journal we did not find any ISBN or ISSN numbers

CLOSING
4.1 Conclusion

This journal describes well about BUILDING ENTREPRENEURSHIP

TRADITION IN COMMUNITY. Where the authors explain each variable quite well.
And the authors conclude that cultivating the spirit and tradition of entrepreneurship
in society takes a long and sustainable time, not instantaneously, this entrepreneurial
spirit and tradition appears in society.

Fostering an entrepreneurial spirit and tradition starting from the family

environment. The family environment is the place where humans first learn and shape
character. Next is education that directs students to get used to learning
entrepreneurial spirit. With an educational curriculum based on entrepreneurship,
students are accustomed to behave as entrepreneurs so that this tradition brings out
their habit of choosing the entrepreneurial profession. The last is government support
for the entrepreneurial tradition. Various programs have been carried out by the
government to nurture young entrepreneurs. Among these programs are seminars,
training, business plan competitions, implementation of an entrepreneur-based
curriculum, entrepreneurship, and MSME funding grants.

4.2 Suggestions

This journal is of course good enough to be used as reference material. However,

even so, there are still some weaknesses in this journal. And it would be very good if
the writer can fix the weaknesses contained in this journal.

And for readers, it would be very good to understand the contents of this journal.
And can help to apply it, namely building Entrepreneur traditions in society

Abstrak : Entrepreneurship menjadi jalan yang paling efektif di tengah himpitan

ekonomi yang semakin besar dan lapangan pekerjaan yang semakin sempit, untuk
membangkitkan kembali kehidupan perekonomian masyarakat. Indonesia masih perlu
mempersiapkan lahirnya generasi entrepreneur karena para entrepreneurship inilah
yang akan menjadi penggerak pembangunan ekonomi di Indonesia. Tujuan dari
penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana membangun tradisi
entrepreneurship pada masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian
pustaka (Literature Review) untuk membahas topik yang dikaji. Kajian Pustaka
dimaksudkan untuk memecahkan suatu masalah yang pada dasarnya bertumpu pada
penelaahan kritis dan mendalam terhadap bahan-bahan pustaka yang relevan. Hasil
dari telaah pustaka menyimpulkan bahwa ketiga tradisi yang diciptakan oleh
keluarga, pendidikan dan pemerintah mampu mendorong tumbuhnya tradisi
entrepreneur pada masyarakat.
