OUTBOUND LOGISTICS- PULL REPLENISHMENT

Introduction
This lab is prepared to demonstrate basic standard Pull Replenishment in a Warehouse Management (WMS) enabled
organization. It has been developed to assist an application support analyst by:

» Introducing navigation through the Oracle Warehouse Management (WMS) forms

» Listing detail steps to create a Pull Replenishment transaction
» In this lab, we demonstrate the how a material shortage of an Item in a Forward Pick Subinventory for a sales order
demand, triggers an automatic replenishment. We also show how the system automatically satisfy the demand as
soon as the replenishment is completed.
» The labs will only show the demonstration of the processes. For definitions please refer the Oracle Warehouse
management User’s guide

Perquisites
Analyst should have a basic understanding of the below modules so that the labs can be well followed.
» Oracle Inventory
» Oracle Order Management
» Oracle Warehouse Management Systems
» System Administrator

Pull Replenishment Process Flow
The following chart displays the Pull replenishment process flow

1. During Pick release, system check for shortfall in Pick face ( i.e. forward pick Subinventory)

2. Then Check if Replenishment is feasible. If yes, then Move delivery detail to ‘Replenishment Requested’ and

creates Replenishment tasks. If not Lines are backordered.

3. Users then execute the Replenishment task

4. Then lines which were in ‘Replenishment requested’ status are then pick released again

5. If there are no more shortfall, then lines move to ‘Released To warehouse’ Status and Pick tasks are created
