Case A

1.The objective used in creating the test should be multiple choice, true or false, matching and
completion.

2.Content validity is determined to measure the knowledge of the content domain of which it was
designed to measure knowledge.

3.In a table of specification in determining the content validity the key areas should be present
like , knowledge,comprehension, analization,synthesis and application.

4.the content validity of the items should be checked by the expert like the Master Teacher who
has the skills andastery of the subject.

Case B.

1.To ensure that the assessment to be effective . It should be Useful , Targeted and Sustainable.

Useful – The teacher should intellectually engaging and challenging inquiry into her students.

Targeted - Identify the learning outcomes that are most important .

Sustainable - Assessment should be done regularly as part of the ongoing activities.

2.In conducting face validity it measure the the variables or construct that it is supposed to
measure.
For example, a Math teacher conducts a test and after that he follow-up by giving questionnaire
to measure the mathematical ability of the students.

3.Face validity is the weakest validity because it is superficial and subjective assessment of
whether or not the study or test measure what is supposed to measure.

Case C

1.It is to examine the association between the entrance examr esults and the first quarter grades
and if there is a significant and positive correlations between the entrance examination scores
and grades.

2.That there is a significant and positive correlations between these two measures.

3.If the predictive effect is statistically significant ,such test is said to be predictive validity. In
the given case there is a significant and positive correlations between the two measure.

4.The statistical analysis to determine the predictive validity using correlational analyses,in
which a correlation coefficient between the test of interest and the criterion assessment serves as
index measure.Multiple regression or path analyses can also be used.

5 Predictive validity interpreted through the entrance exams results and the grades of the first
quarter. There is a correlation between the two measure and the effect is statistically significant.

Case D

1.When conducting this validity there should be two measure present and that is the students’
grades in math and the copy of the achievement test.

2.In conducting a concurrent validity test one exam is a practical test and the second exam is a
paper test.

3.To establish this validity the correlation between a new test and the existing test to
demonstrate whether the new test correlates well with the existing test.
4.The correlation coefficient between the two sets of scores is also known as validity
coefficient. The validity coefficient can range from -1 to + 1;coefficient close to 1 in absolute
value indicate high concurrent validity of the new measure.

Case E

1.The type of test that a construct validity requires is the characteristics of individuals, such as
intelligence,obesity,job satisfaction,or depression.

2.In order to verify its constructs it is to ensure the method of measurement matches the
construct you want to measure. Example you develop a questionnaire about depression, the
questionnaire should measure the construct of depression.

3.Construct validity refers to whether the scores of a test or instrument measure the distinct
dimension they are intended to measure while the factor analysis is a complex statistical
procedure which is conducted for a variety of purposes, one of which is to assess the construct
validity of a test or a number of test.
.
4.By test and retest reliability. There must be a consistency in the results of the test.

5.Construct validity is usually verified by comparing the test to other test that measure similar
qualities to see how highly correlated the two measures are.
