Confidence Interval:
The confidence interval is expressed as a percentage (e.g. 95% confidence level). If you
repeat the test or study it over and over, 95% of your results will match what you get from
people (i.e. you hear statistics!). The moment of faith is usually your outcome and number.
For example, check with your pet owners team to see how many cans of dog food you buy
each year. I check the statistics at the 99% confidence level and get the confidence time
(200,300). That means they think they buy between 200 and 300 cans a year. Expectations
that the results will be statistically good are high (99% is too high!).
c)
The critical approach is to determine the "probability" or "impossibility" by checking if the
null hypothesis that the statistical test results are significantly higher than expected is true.
That is, comparing the test stats to a specific cutoff value called a "threshold value". If the
number of tests exceeds the threshold, the null hypothesis is rejected and another hypothesis
is preferred. If the test number does not exceed the threshold, the null hypothesis is not
rejected.
 In particular, there are 4 steps to implementing the most important way to perform
hypothesis testing.
 Describe negative thoughts and alternatives.
 Data Samples Use the data and estimate the missing hypothesis to actually count the
number of test statistics. To perform a hypothesis test on the population, we used the
t-statistic t∗ = x¯-/s/n after distributing n-1 degrees of freedom through t.
 Tests By calculating the known distribution of test statistics, the threshold is
calculated so that the probability of errors of type I (Greek called "alpha") and "test
value" is small (typically 0.01, 0.05 or 0.10).
 Important test statistics are compared to threshold values. If the test statistic goes too
far in a direction other than the threshold, other hypotheses will reject the absurd
hypothesis. If the test statistic is significantly lower than the threshold, do not ignore
the null hypothesis.

selected the option of showing the equation function. The below mention graph clearly shows

the regression equation for the table on the right side.

Question 3(b)

10 265 15 3,975 70,225 225
Total 1,722 73 13,446 318,556 815
Using the following correlation formula;

Σx = 1,722
Σy = 73
Σxy = 13,446
Σx2 = 318,556
Σy2 = 815
n = 10

r= 10(13,446) – (1,722 × 73) / [√[[10(318,556) – (8152)] × [10(815) – (73)2]]

= 0.05

Null Hypothesis p=0

Alternative hypothesis p<0, p>0

Step-2

Calculate test statistic

r=0.05

r^2=0.0025

n=10

By implementing the values, the values in the above given formula, we get;

t=0.14

Step-3

By calculating P value using the above test statistic, we conclude that there is no correlation
between the weight and exercise times of students who like white color
