in HR interview also.

Firstly the coordinator asked us to suggest some topics but he gave us the following
topic: “IMPACT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY IN INDIA AFTER 10YEARS.
"
In GD you must put your points confidently & speak something. If you put your points
confidently they will select you. In our group 6 people were selected from 12. In GD 150

· Tell me about yourself?
· Why your 12th % was low?

4) HR INTERVIEW
1) WRITTEN TEST:
First Most important thing that everyone should do is to go through last 10 -15
previous papers…. It is more than sufficient to clear the Written Test.
To clear the Aptitude Section….. Try solving all Aptitude problems in last 10-15
papers. Just learn how to solve them (This will b useful if the numbers are changed
for similar type of problems). For most of questions you will find answers in the
previous papers itself. Just mug up the answers for those problems where you don’t
find the method to solve the problem.
To solve Verbal Section….. prepare Synonyms and Antonyms for TCS which is given
in Chetanas. Try to go through GRE Barron’s wordlist if you have Time (Concentrate
on words starting with A, C, I, P, R, S and T).
Questions I Remember:
Verbal:
1) Candid
2) Inveterate
3) Inter
4) Incorrigible
5) Banal

Bye,
Aravind.
There were two written exams each of 30 mins without ne time gap ( and
there was no negative marking so do attempt all the questions in sitting for
NIIT tech):
8 figures wer given & 9th had to selected from 8 given options. It was a test
and 36 ques to be done in 30 mins. Some were really very tough but most of
them wer easy.Time is a big boundation, so remember to take a watch, which
i dint had.after 30 mins they took the question paper back and gave the next
paper.
After the test the we were given a presentaion bout NIIT TECH and we wer
allowed to ask some questions if we had bout the company. Then we had to
wait for the results which wer declared after an hour and surprisingly there
wer only 18 candidates wer selected out of 112.
from my college IITMl 2 wer selected.
Then we had to fill in a form and wait for the interview, long wait of 4-5
hours and then came my chance.
The interview :
First i was asked to tell some thing bout myself so i gave my intro and as i
had my project work with me so i ended it with telling bout it.He took the
project file and seemed to be lill impressed with the projct i had as it was
bout robotics. delete
By this time i got confident and words started to flow easily as i relaxed a lill.
He then asked me bout DBMS:
He then asked me if i know networks, i replied yes and he asked some simple
questions:
1)Wat is a network?
2)Wat is TCP/IP?
3)Layers in OSI?
Although he asked simple question but remeber to give answers in details as
they wont ask u to tell more bout the topic and juz check how much you
know bout the topic so add in some good details until any additional
information u know.
They wont show ne reactions to ur answers but continuously mark ur
answers and replies. So remember to reply with details.
Then he wished me luck and the interview was over.We had to wait for
another hour for the results.
Then came the moment and the results were announced and surprisingly
only 8 wer selected outa 18
We wer told that 80% was the cutoff for the written exams so accuracy is
equally important as speed.
