Executive Summary
There is no doubt that sometimes you find yourself tired of your plain boring 
electronics. At CTRL Customz, it is our mission to take your creative ideas and make your 
everyday items personalized. We will give you your wants and your desires by making your 
products one hundred percent reliable, and efficient.  
 
CTRL Customz sells electronic accessories that will add more pizazz to your everyday 
electronics. Our accessories include phone cases, chargers of different lengths, portable 
chargers, screen protectors of three different kinds, tablet covers, computer cases, as well as 
stickers for your cases. We also include small, medium, and large packages that include 
varieties of our items. Not only do we provide many creative default designs for our products, 
you are also given the choice of customizing your accessories as well. That way you don’t have to 
feel like you have to pick and choose what you want, you can design what you want! And if you 
decide you want to get into the holiday spirit or stay in season we also provide seasonal and 
holiday inspired cases as well.  
 
At CTRL customz our goal is to reach our customers to another level of satisfaction with 
our products. We as a company strive to make our customers happy and satisfied with the 
product and products they receive.  
 
Seeing as this is the first year of CTRL Customz being in business, we are currently 
operating at a loss. CTRL Customz has a total revenue of $10,142 with a gross profit of $-14,649 
and a gross profit margin of -144%. CTRL Customz has a total operating expense of $157,148 but 
is countered with $-171,797 income from operations. Although CTRL Customz has not been very 
successful in its first year of business, we hope with the help of increase in marketing 
campaigns as well as using more social media to reach out more customers and businesses we 
will be able to begin operating at a profit.

you use everyday. We add just a little more spice and creativity to your life. And most 
importantly we make sure that your envision is our creation!

Through Twitter and Instagram, CTRL Customz extends our reach to new customers 
every day. Although electronics are widely used by all ages, we target ages 10-25. This is because 
this specific age group is most involved with technology. Therefore, this group will most likely 
have social media platforms such as Twitter and Instagram. By promoting our products and 
services on these apps, CTRL Customz will be able to grow our business. 
 
Problem Statement 
Electronics have become such an essential part of our everyday life. People have their 
own phones, tablets, laptops, etc. When you buy an electronic from the store, it will be plain 
and the same as everyone else’s. The main problem with having a plain device is that it doesn’t 
help you express your uniqueness. Other companies that provide cases for your electronics 
don’t allow the customer to feel unique -- they mass-produce their cases with the same design 
on each case. That method of production is not satisfactory for someone that wants to be 
different from everyone else. Expressing your differences in style and personality with the 
design of your electronic cases is put to a limit with other companies.

guaranteed. Not only are our designs fashionable and highly customizable, but our designs will 
also last a lifetime! Our user-customizable option for most of our products allows you to tell us 
exactly what you want on your product. CTRL Customz team members believe that everyone 
deserves an opportunity to have their personal styles represented on their electronic devices. 
Giving our customers the option to choose which product type they want and then planning 
their own personal design(s) they would like to put on it gives them a sense of self-esteem.

located in a small town known as Stem, North Carolina. At CTRL Customz, we endeavor

● Real: This pandemic has put our business through challenges we thought we’d never had 
to face. Starting our business in the middle of a pandemic made things difficult for our 
company to communicate with all of our employees and also meeting our projected sales 
goal. We were able to overcome these challenges by using Zoom for our daily meetings 
and creating seasonal discounts using attractive and aesthetic advertisements. 
However, being online gave us the biggest advantage ever. Our target audience is the 
younger generation who thrives on social media platforms. This gives us a chance to 
promote our business in an effective way with Instagram, Snapchat, our website, etc.

Competitive Analysis: 
Some problems our company may have when compared to other companies, is that we 
may sell the same/similar products, and other companies may also sell the technology that goes 
along with the products. For example, Just In Case in New York is a company that also sells 
technology equipment such as covers, cases, and chargers. They also sell actual technology like 
phone tables, laptops, etc. Companies like these will get paid more and be able to create more 
products with their income. However, people have been losing their jobs from the pandemic 
and can’t afford those products. At CTRL Customz, our products are cheap and affordable to 
anyone who wants to buy them, and our bundles are in a reasonable price range for anyone. 
Unlike other companies that sell basic and set products, we allow our customers to create their 
own products and order bundles at any time they want and can create something they would 
really like.  
 
Current Economic Conditions: 
This unexpected pandemic has caused inconsistency with our economy like 
no other. Unemployment rates are at an all time high while our economy is taking 
blows as well. This affects how we pay our employees, as sales fluctuate during 


each season. This is why seasonal discounts are crucial to our business, as we 
strive to give our customers the best quality with a reasonable price. 


Marketing Plan 
Target Market:  
Our target market includes anyone who owns a phone or tablet, specifically the younger 
generations who are into cool gear for their electronics. This does not confine our market to be 
of a certain race or gender, because electronics are so relevant in today's society.

● Geographic: Customers are located beyond the state of North Carolina. As our business 
continues to expand, so will our geographical targets.  
● Demographic: The main target is the younger generation because of the larger influence 
they have on the market.

especially when they can customize it to make it more personal and aesthetically 
pleasing. We want to target individuals who have a desire to let their creativity show.

Our sales will all be online instead of a physical store. We will also sell our products at 
trade shows and show them in competitions.

As part of our promotion, we have multiple social media accounts which help us to reach 
our target markets in more ways than one. Along with social media we have commercials to 
alert those who do not have social media of our amazing products. 
 
For potential trade shows, we’ve dedicated hours to crafting our business cards and 
mailing envelopes. While designing our marketing tools, we’ve kept in mind the importance of 
keeping it simple but aesthetic to the eye. Our blue complements our logo and makes our 
mission statement pop. We are immensely proud to present this to our audience and even the 
judges.   
 
Lastly, we send notices of upcoming season discounts to neighboring businesses and 
companies outside of the NC border. With this strategy, our company is able to make sales 
along with our social media platforms; also, we get to spread to other businesses that their 
go-to company for customized tech exists.  
 
Positioning: 
Our company’s headquarters are located in the small town of Stem in North Carolina, so 
we’ve been disadvantaged in getting our name out there locally. However, our social media 
platform has helped us reach a broader audience beyond our small town, making our sales goals 
a reality. From Los Angeles, where dreams become a reality, to the streets of New York where 
individuality is the new graffiti, our company branches out to many different regions of our 
country. We will soon aim to reach even further beyond that border, striving for a much bigger 
audience like never before.  
 
 
 
Discussion of Business Risks: 
Since we only sell a few items it is hard to come up with different bundle ideas to sell as 
large packages. It is also difficult because we are now limited to the few items that we sell, so

Financial Plan
Here at CTRL Customz, Finance/Accounting is combined of many different aspects that 
help to keep our company up and running with peak performance and authentic statistics. We 
take pride in dotting every eye and crossing every T. Our job consists of everything from 
checking balance sheets, calculating inventory, and even the examination and improvement of 
our very own employee’s personal budgets. This allows us as a department to train and grow in 
our positions as we balance and maintain the business itself.  
 
A very important task that we have is conducting our monthly break even analysis, 
which is essentially where the total cost and total amount of sales are equal. To grasp an 
accurate idea of how our statistics look, we have to find the amount of units sold, our revenue, 
the variable cost of each unit, the fixed cost, and finally calculate the total cost. We also do 
things such as generating a profit and loss statement which conveys the expenses that our 
company has faced but also all of our profit that we have gained. This allows us to know how 
broke we are (loss), and how much our company is thriving (profit). All of our tasks together 
make up Finance/Accounting and it allows our business to operate properly with accurate 
statistics with some hard work from some great associates.

This year, CTRL Customz is operating at a loss, with being a newly started business, and 
the set-backs put forth upon just about every company in Virtual Enterprise. CTRL Customz 
has a total revenue of $10,142 with a gross profit of $-14,649 and a gross profit margin of -144%.

current time. Our plan is to conduct more marketing campaigns and also use social media to 
promote our business. We also take pride in making sure customers receive outstanding 
customer service, so we plan to keep close contact with previous customers so that they might 
promote us as well. This way we can turn our business around and begin to operate at a profit.

Loan Amortization: 

At the beginning of September, CTRL Customz applied for a loan of $300,000 at a 5% interest 
rate. By March, 2021, the $300,000 loan would be paid off with a total interest cost of 
$316,041.03, this is causing the total payment over time of the 7 years. By now, we have roughly 7 
payments that will be made, each payment would cost $38,206.54.
