MENTAL HEALTH ELECTRONIC

BOOKS
WHAT ARE E-BOOKS?

E-books are web based electronic books that are available through
the E-books and E-journals section on the Worcestershire Knowledge
Portal, and also through the National Library for Health. An NHS
Athens username and password is required to access these
resources, which can also be created via our library website below.
HOW TO ACCESS E-BOOKS

To access these online resources visit our library website at

www.wkp.nhs.uk and select the ‘e-books and e-journals’ button at
the top of the screen.

On the next screen select you can then search our A-Z of e-journals,
or you can login to our E-books collection
E-BOOKS COLLECTION

E-books offer the full text of a print volume but with the advantages
that you can access them electronically, search the text easily
(sometimes across many books at once) and print or save the
sections that you need. We may stock print copies of these books,
but they could be out on loan, however with E-books you can read
them anywhere you have an internet connection and all you need is
an Athens username and password. E-books cover all areas of
mental health so log in and see what is available for you.
E-BOOKS HELP

If you need help with the e-books interface, or would like to learn
more about the advanced search features then select the ‘help’
option under the quick search box
