ADMISSION TO Ph.D. PROGRAMME UNDER ADF SCHEME FOR JANUARY 2021

SESSION

Recommended candidates listed in the annexure for admission to Ph.D. programme under
AICTE Doctoral Fellowship (ADF) Scheme for January 2021 session are directed to appear with the
following original certificates and self attested photocopies as per the schedule given below. After
the certificate verification necessary fees as shown below shall be paid immediately through online
mode using Credit card/Debit card/Net Banking.
The following Original certificates and their self attested photocopies shall be produced for
verification
1. SSLC Mark Sheet 2. HSC/Diploma Mark Sheet
3. UG and PG Degree and Consolidated Mark sheets 4. GATE Score Card
4. Community Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL)
5. For employed anywhere, Relieving order from the employer.
6. Transfer Certificate of last studied (Original TC will be retained with the University).
7. Differently abled candidates shall produce a photocopy of “Disability Certificate” obtained
from State/Central Government Organization for availing Tuition fee exemption (If applicable)
Important Note:
1. Selected candidates will be admitted to Ph.D. programmes subject to the vacancy under the
supervisor (Professor - 11, Associate Professor - 8 and Assistant Professor - 5 scholars). The
candidates, whose supervisor is not having the vacancy, will be admitted subject to the
submission of
i. Consent from an alternate recognized supervisor from recognized department of this
University.
ii. Details of research scholars registered under the proposed Supervisor
iii. Fresh list of members for DC.
iv. One page write up duly signed by the proposed Supervisor and Candidate.
2. A maximum of 4 candidates only are allowed to register with a Supervisor in a session. In case,
more than 4 candidates are selected, such Supervisors are requested to give priority list to
maximum of 4 candidates to be admitted in this session (January 2021).
3. Selected Candidates who are already pursuing Ph.D. in any department/institute must discontinue
the same and has to join fresh in ADF Scheme in the selected department/institute.
4. Panel of DC members with their last 5 years publication list.
5. One Self Addressed cover stamped to the value of Rs.5.
