The December 2020 Turbo Server release includes the following major new features:

Workspace items can now be grouped into Channels with customizable user and group permissions.
Channels are ideal for assigning entitlements to specific classes, teams or departments. Channels are listed
on the Portal Dashboard to permitted users.

New Web Application and Link item types can now be added to workspaces, allowing users to open
configurable URLs in a virtual browser sessions or in their native browser.

New Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) integration allows students and instructors to access course
applications directly within Canvas and other LTI-compliant Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Other improvements include:

Google LDAP authentication is now supported.

New Enable Drive Redirection setting configures the visibility of mapped drives when streaming remote
applications.

New Ticket Expiration Time setting configures the expiration time for user logins.

New Up Time statistics and a Reboot Server action have been added to the Server Diagnostics page.

OCSP Stapling has been enabled to improve SSL certificate verification.

SSL certificate fields now allow .PEM file extensions.

New Application Type selector has been added to the Repository Settings page.

The workspace permissions form now supports user and group search.

Streaming settings now update the application server's local group policies and no longer require a server
restart.

Broker resource allocation strategy allows falling back to unresponsive but potentially functional application
servers.

Portal authentication recovers faster when the API service restarts or has connectivity issues.

The Last Modified Date is now preserved in Server log archives.

HTML5 client and SSO logon errors now include additional troubleshooting details to simplify error

Google Drive integration is available through the T: Drive.

User's persisted states can be reset from the administration site User Sessions page.

The administration site can now be reached through the Portal Gateway when using single domain URL

Application Share URLs to allow users to launch applications without logging in.

Other improvements include:

Applications that do not allow the default Portal launch mode now allow users to right-click to select a
different launch mode.

Updated the Run in Cloud (Windowed) launch mode to support default Windows domains when launching
applications with non-temporary profiles.

Added search and pagination to the Hub repository page.

The EULA field is no longer part of the Server license file.

Workspace application command line now accepts release version numbers.

This update includes fixes for the following issues:

Improved database credential checking during install and upgrade.

The August 2020 Turbo Server release includes the following major new features:

New Server Log Archives feature allows administrators to create and download log archives directly from
the administration site.

New Cloud Storage Test feature allows administrators to test their storage configurations before
committing any changes.

New Precache Applications and Default Domain settings have been added to workspaces. The precache
settings controls which workspaces are automatically cached to the Application Server; the Default Domain
setting sets the default domain used to login when launching applications in the cloud with non-temporary
profiles.

Other improvements include:

Custom date range selector added to the Reports page.

CSV and PDF download options added to the Reports page.

Improved administration site loading speeds, navigation behavior, input validation, and error handling.

Cloud Storage service secrets can now be edited in place.

Daily log file rotations enalbed on proxy service logs. Logs are now moved to the ProgramData directory.

Moved the Application Server logs directory from ProgramData into the Turbo Server install directory.

This update includes fixes for the following issues:

HTML5 file transfers may fail when logged in as a domain user.

RXP service logs were not being saved to the Turbo Server install directory when using a non-default install
directory.

Optimize Storage was not automatically restarting the Hub server to complete the optimization.

Single Sign On client secret input was not obscured on the administration site.

The July 2020 Turbo Server release includes the following major new features:

New Notice and Consent feature allows adinistrators to display a form that the user must agree to during
the login process.

New Cache Temporary User Profiles setting automatically controls whether temporary user profiles are
persisted or deleted from the server periodically (approximately every 10 minutes after logout by default).

Application Server now supports Windows Server 2019.

New Server command line interface commands for importing repositories and adding applications to a
workspace.

Other improvements include:

Allow remote applications to display Windows Logon screen messages

Allow remote applications to display Windows session reconnect selections.

Improved server installation and upgrade time by removing unnecessary user write permissions
configuration. Temporary profiles do not require write permissions to system folders by default.

Note
The component layering as specified by the Turbo Server Portal was incorrectly ordered in previous version.

Administrators should reverse the ordering of any application components that depend on a specific component
ordering.

The June 2020 Turbo Server release includes the following major new features:

Application Licensing controls are now available as part of Workspace Administration. Administrators can
configure license controls based on named or concurrent users or devices.

Light and dark Portal Theme options are now available on the Appearance settings. This allows for use of
dark wallpaper images.

Server Logs can now be viewed and downloaded from the Administration site.

Added support for Windows Domain User Logins when launching applications in the cloud.

Other improvements include:

The Device Keys table now includes a Windows User column.

Drag & Drop now supported in the HTML5 client file browser.

This update includes fixes for the following issues:

The Portal now redirects users with expired credentials back to their previous page after a successful
Single Sign On.

The Workspace Administration site now shows the user's full name, when available, in the top right instead
of the login name.

Fixed a T: drive connection issue, HTML5 permissions error, and incorrect help text on server farms with a
single Domain URL configured.

The Turbo Server service may intermittently fail to start on Windows Server 2012r2.

Performance monitoring does not function properly for non-administrative service accounts.

Incorrect Database is not empty warning during installation under certain circumstances.

SAML logout may not complete successfully when the HTTP-POST binding is configured on the identity
provider.

This minor update patch release includes removal of a UI component that is vulnerable to a security exploit.

This code was unused and does not impact functionality in any way. Update to this patch release is strongly
recommended.

This update also includes the following improvements:

The portal now shows the user's full name if available in the top right instead of the login name.

The May 2020 Turbo Server release introduces a new file browser with drag and drop support to the Turbo
HTML5 client.

This release also introduces support for F5 and other stateless load balancers, allowing greatly increasing
scaleability.

This update also includes the following improvements:

Improved image caching logic to provides a faster first launch experience.

Turbo Server now uses 64-bit Java. The default Java heap size is increased from 1GB to 2GB.

The Workspace service no longer requires a restart requirement when changing user authentication
settings.

Added a Used Memory graph to domain dashboard page.

Improved the Help text for the Cloud Storage and User Authentication setups to simplify Single Sign On
configuration.

This update includes fixes for the following issues:

Non-user sessions are automatically filtered from the Sessions graph on the Domain dashboard page.

This update includes the following improvements:

The Hub storage directory has been relocated to a custom directory that is configurable in the
administration site. If you are migrating existing data, please make sure that the target drive has enough
space before changing the path.

Updated the SSLCipherSuite in the embedded Apache configuration to disable export ciphers which are
affected by FREAK attacks.

Updated session eventing API to improve support for load balanced Portal servers.

This update includes fixes for the following issues:

Issue parsing SAML assertion tokens under certain circumstances.

Added network tunnel routing for public API endpoints required to launch applications from external
Portals.

New! Generic SAML 2.0 support provides Single Sign-On (SSO) login configurations for authentication
services that support SAML 2.0.

Major upgrade to Domain Federation supports replication of workspace definitions; identity data such as
users, groups, and single sign-on configurations; and repositories from a parent source domain.

New Import Repository option allows an immediate, one-time import of a repository from an external
domain.

New SSL Network Tunneling tunnels traffic for defined endpoints from local virtual environments to
remote environments over SSL.

The Launch API service is now configurable from the Domain settings page. This makes it easier to
integrate Turbo launches with third-party web portals.

Added additional configuration options to the Domain Settings page, including new resource allocation
strategies.

Added additional configuration options to the Application Settings page, including startup file and
networking tunneling options
