Direction: The class will be divided into two groups and each group will choice their representative to be
blindfolded and pick three unknown devices inside the box. Each representative per group will try to identify
the unknown device by touching it. The group that got the highest correct answer will have a prize.
B. Presentation of the Lesson

2. Hardware- is the collection of physical parts of a computer system. It is the components that you can
touch.
3. Software-is a set of instructions and its documentations that tells a computer what to perform a task.

The two groups from the first activity will chose between the two pictures of the component that
correspond to its function .They will choose one member of the group per item to answer. The group that have the
least correct answer will clean the classroom after class.

E. Generalization
Basic components of the computer that must have to operate. It is very important to identify their name
and know their functions for them to be able to see the importance of each components on the overall operation of
the computer.
