REPORT STRUCTURE:
This report includes the following chapters-

 CHAPTER 1: Provides an introduction of the study, aim, objectives, need of the


study and methodology adopted for completing the research study.

 CHAPTER 2: Presents the Transport trends and externalities focussing present


situation of pedestrian modes in DELHI.

 CHAPTER 3: Provides brief review about the Walkability, its parameters


prescribed by UTTIPEC, and how Walkability can be measured.

 CHAPTER 4: Discusses the existing transport condition, results of field


Walkability and pedestrian interview surveys in selected study area.

 CHAPTER 5: Describes the case study of that areas which are walkable,
liveable cities of the world according to Walkability score ratings.

 CHAPTER 6: Discusses the solutions for problems identified through site study
and pedestrian surveys.
