ATE Viva Card
• The Viva Sydney card will be used as the exclusive delegate
discount card during ATE Sydney 2011.

• 4,000 cards and accompanying flyers will be printed and distributed


in welcome satchels to both buyers, sellers and media attending
ATE.

• Confirmed ATE Sellers have been approached to provide Viva


Sydney offers.

• There are currently 60 offers in the Viva Sydney promotion, and we


are in the process of recruiting additional partners

• Overview:
• 1 visit East: 29 Mar – 1 Apr/ Grand Pacific Drive
• 2 visit West: 31 Mar – 3 Apr/ Hunter Valley and Lord 
Howe Island
• International trade media participants only
• Fully escorted by a Tourism NSW and RTO 
representative
• Sydney activities will be incorporated into itineraries
Media Kit
• Tourism NSW will produce an ATE11 Media kit which will be 
hosted on the Tourism NSW corporate site and available on 
the Travmedia virtual ATE press room
• A mini collection of relevant images will be available on the 
Tourism NSW image library. 
• A request for new product information was issued to all NSW 
registered product on Feb 3 
– Email was sent to primary ATE delegate
– Request was for new product includes refurbishments, new or revised 
experiences/tours or brand new product to ATE
– Closing date was Feb 11 however if you have relevant information, 
story angles then please  contact Kristen Angus asap and include a 
high res image.
ATE11 Media Centre

• Tourism Australia host a virtual media centre 
through Travmedia. Registered ATE sellers are able 
to upload a single press release and appropriate 
image. 
• Access to Media Centre will be restricted to Media 
Staff only. 
• ATE Daily is the event daily newspaper. Please keep 
Tourism NSW apprised of photo/story/interview 
opportunities at your stand during ATE. 
Media Schedules and Events

• Media will have a full appointment schedule. 
• If you dont media appointments in your 
schedule, Tourism Australia and Tourism NSW 
will host two media morning teas on the 
TNSW stand
• Eastern – Sunday April 3
• Western – Tuesday April 5
• NSW sellers will be welcome on the stand 
during morning teas to meet with media
