Father, we come before you. Aware of your awesomeness!

Receive our praises and worship in your honor Lord!

You are more than able. And your words assure us we should:

Be anxious for nothing but in all our Prayer add

Thanksgiving and with Supplication make our
request known to you, our God. And peace that
surpasses all understand will keep our Heart.” –
Philippians 4:6-7

Lord, we are here this day in fulfillment of these words, as we

stand in the gap for the universal church that is currently
plagued with strange monsters trying to erode our faith in
your infallible word and son.

Lord, we come to you in grateful adoration, for your mercy is

overwhelming. Your kindness is greater than we can grasp.
Thank you for surrounding and holding us in your arms! Thank
you for offering us a whole new life with you!

Come Lord, reign in our hearts. Make up what is lacking in our

efforts. Deepen the conversations of our heart. Let us
experience greater intimacy with you.

Lord, we offer you our lives, all our plans and dreams. Silence
our mind and heart and give us the grace to hear your voice.
We want your living waters to flow in us today. Nourish,
cleanse, and bring us your joy. Show us our true reflection.
Give us the courage and patience to respond to your love.

Reveal the glory of your Church in this world, make her path
shine brighter and brighter unto the perfect day. Whittle down
all forces trying to dime the Light of your word and the impact
of the gospel. Keep shaping and forming us to reflect the
Dominion Mandate in you.

Lord, we want to reflect your glory. Make us epistles of your

immeasurable blessings as we remain open to all the leadings
of your Spirit in truth.

The Body of your Son need you more. Work through us. Keep
reigning in life through us. Make us your mouthpiece. May all
grace abound toward us for the enlargement of your kingdom:
Grace for speed. Grace for favor. Grace for wealth. Grace for
righteousness

We want to produce good works in all sufficiency Lord! We

understand the possibilities of your kingdom are traceable to
the grace we carry. We need grace for influence. We need
grace for restoration. We need grace for prosperity. We need
grace for possibilities in the kingdom to subdue circumstances
around us that hitherto demean our Light.

Father, we intercede for the church and faithful(s). We need to

produce dimensions of result that will shame the devil.
Confront all that confront us. Make us vessels unto glory.

We give you thanks. We give you glory. We give you all

adoration. In the company of the brethren, we honor you. May
we not be only available. Make us usable. Make us vessels of
honor, not that of dishonor. We desire to live by you Lord.

Bless the church. Bless our country Nigeria, and all the nations
of the world. Bless the African Church. Bless the Universal
Church, including all denominations and fellowships.

May your Church in Africa respond to your call in our time for
territorial influence to advertise your reign on earth. Let the
ongoing revival-fire burn down all limiting edges. May we ride
on your vantage position to make you known to all flesh!

May the remaining parts of this meeting (book) benefit us with

all the grace we need as we work towards hitting the mark for
your glory in JESUS holy name.

MINISTER’S PRAYERS FROM JOEL 2:17.

INTRODUCTION:

CHRISTIANS ARE ANOINTED-LIKE.

In Acts 11:26, the first set of persons were called Christians. It

was because they acted like Christ.

Christ means the Anointed. So, the first Christians acted like the
anointed.

The anointed is not a thing. He is a person. The anointed is

Jesus Christ, the Son of God. So, they acted like the Son of God.

ARE THERE SPECIAL CHRISTIANS?

In Ephesians 4:11, Christ – the head of Christians and the

Church – gave to men gifts. He gave to some Apostles,
Prophets, Teachers, Evangelist, Pastors and Teachers.

Who did He give these gifts? Christians. This means there are
different levels of Christians. Better put, there are Christians
with special gifts – gifts of leadership as Apostles, Evangelist,
Prophets, Teachers and Pastors. Therefore, all Christians are
not the same. There are special Christians.

MINISTERS OF GOD ARE SPECIAL CHRISTIANS?

The special Christians are the so-called men and women of God.
In the Old Testament, they were called friends of God, beloved
of God, Servants of God, and the likes.

What makes these people special is their call to inner service.

Like in the Old Testament, they served in the inner courts.

Jesus speaking about greatness said, He who shall be the

greatest among you shall be servants of all (Luke 22:26).

SERVICES THAT MAKES A MINISTER SPECIAL

The services required from these special Christians or Servants

of God are also mentioned in Ephesians 4.

It reads:

Ephesians 4:11-13
[11] And he gave some, apostles; and some,
prophets; and some, evangelists; and some,
pastors and teachers;
[12] For the perfecting of the saints, for the
work of the ministry, for the edifying of the
body of Christ:
[13] Till we all come in the unity of the faith,

and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto

a perfect man, unto the measure of the
stature of the fulness of Christ:

The services are:

• Perfecting of the saints

• Work of the ministry
• Edifying of the body of Christ
• Unity of the faith
• Knowledge of the son of God
• Perfecting man, and
• Measuring of the stature of the fullness of Christ

THE PRINCIPAL WAY JESUS SERVED

Over the years, many servants have rendered these services

through

• Miracles,
• Signs and
• Wonders.

However, the principal way Jesus fulfilled the ministry of these

services was through

• Preaching,
• Teaching and
• Praying.

Among them, He prayed more. Therefore, prayer is a key

Ministers must use always. It is part of the nature that must be
constantly exercised.

PRAY, NOT TO BE PRAYED FOR

The problem today is Ministers expect to be prayed for than to

pray.

I was in a Minister’s prayer meeting some years ago. That day, I

was ashamed for the ministers of my generation. I understood
partially why the Church is the way it is today. Old and young,
we could not pray for a whole day.

The Revivalists prayed for one hundred years. The Disciples

prayed for ten days. Jesus prayed for forty days. All straight up,
not at intervals.

Ministers have become used to being prayed for, instead of

praying.

MIRACLES HAPPEN WHEN MINISTERS PRAY.

All through scriptures, the greatest miracles happened when

men and women of God prayed, not when Christians prayed. I
am not saying Christians praying are not powerful or important.
Rather, I am saying it is more powerful when ministers pray.

If God gave ministers special gifts, who do you think He would

answer faster: Those who are just like Him (Christians) or those
who serve Him (Ministers)? There lays the answer to why
Ministers' prayers are both needed and powerful.

Hear what God told Prophet Joel

Joel 2:17
[17]Let the priests, the ministers of the
LORD, weep between the porch and the
altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O
LORD, and give not thine heritage to
reproach, that the heathen should rule over
them: wherefore should they say among the
people, Where is their God?

Who did God call to pray above? Ministers.

Yes, other Believers were called to pray too. But, read that
scripture again to see what ministers were to pray about.

PRAYER DIFFERENCE

God expect Ministers to pray. Not for themselves or their need,

but for the whole people of God.

The Church, nations and generations would be better if

ministers pray. The world is the way it is because the required

prayers of Ministers have not reached the expected weight.

God answers ministers more. Therefore, they ought to stand in

the gap.

GREAT THINGS HAPPEN WHEN

MINISTERS PRAY

• Several times when the Israelites had issues on their

way to the Promised Land, it was Moses who prayed,
not the people. And God answered him.

• During the days of Joshua, he prayed for the people,

and God answer him.

• The Prophets prayed, and God answered.

• Kings like David and Solomon – who were also Ministers

of God - prayed, and God answered them.

• When Jesus, as a Servant of God on earth prayed, the

Father answered.

• When the Disciples prayed, the Holy Spirit was sent

There are examples upon examples to show great things

happen when ministers of God pray. So, why hold back?

• Slavery has ended because of the prayers of Ministers.

• The sun stood still because of the prayers of a Minister.

(See Joshua)

• Wars have been won because Ministers prayed. (See

Moses)

• People were released from jail because Ministers

prayed. (See Acts)

WORLD PROBLEMS REQUIRE

MINISTERS PRAYERS

As a Minister, your prayer-life holds the answer to the world's

problems. Your prayer is what the world, church and nations
need.

Today, we must pray.

• Things will begin to work because we prayed in JESUS

name.

• People and things will be changed because we prayed.

• Bills will be stopped and/or overruled because we

prayed.

• The earth and the things in it will work for good

because we prayed in JESUS mighty name.

LET US PRAY!

It was His Ministers Jesus called friends, not everyone else. You
and I are Ministers of Christ, so we are His friends.

Right here and now, we will talk to our father, friend, brother,
and head. Are you ready to pray?

We are taking our prayers from Joel 2:17-18.

PRAYER POINT 1

Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD,

weep between the porch and the altar, …

Thank God for calling you into fellowship in JESUS name.

• Thank Him for the privilege to fellowship with Him!

• Thank Him for His calling upon your life to be a man or
woman of God!
• Thank Him for the Spirit of Supplication He has given

you, and for answers to your prayers the world enjoys!

PRAYER POINT 2

… and let them say, Spare thy people, O

LORD, …

Ask God, the God of Mercy, to have mercy and spare His
people in JESUS mighty name.

• Ask Him to have mercy and spare ministers!

• To have mercy and spare Christians!
• To have mercy and spare governments!
• To have mercy and spare nations!
• To have mercy and spare the earth and its fruits!

PRAYER POINT 3

… and give not thine heritage to

reproach, …

Ask the Father of Light, the Giver of Good Gifts, to give not
His heritage to reproach in JESUS mighty name.

• Ask Him to uphold His heritage!

• To not allow His heritage to suffer or be stolen!
• Ask Him to protect His heritage!
• To not give His heritage to destruction!
• To not allow the righteous be destroyed with the
wicked!

PRAYER POINT 4

… that the heathen should rule over them:

wherefore should they say among the
people, where is their God?

Ask God the Father to take His place as Lord in JESUS mighty
name.

• To not allow the heathen rule over His people!

• To arise and take His place as Lord over the earth and all
that are therein!
• Ask Him to not allow the enemies of His people and
Church reign!
• To super-impose on laws, ideas, agreements, and
governments that are against His kingdom!

Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD,

weep between the porch and the altar, and

Exercise your authority as a representative of God - as God –

in JESUS mighty name.

• Speak in tongues!
• Discharge Angels!
• Cast down strong imaginations!
• Command the devil to let the things of God go!
• Uproot everything God has not planted!
• Call for a shaking!
• For things to move to better realities!
• Execute the judgment and justice of God!
• Command every manipulation to end!
• Release Angels!

Strengthen the Church of God in JESUS mighty name.

• Strengthen the children of God!

• Prophesy things to become well!
• Make declarations!
• Declare the earth is the LORD'S and the fullness
thereof!
• Speak to the land, command it to produce fruits!
• Speak to the sea, command it not to pass its
boundaries!
• Speak to the wind to be a blessing to people of God!

PRAYER POINT 7

… Where is their God?

Let the world hear God's voice through your mouth in JESUS
mighty name.

One of the things Jesus said the anointing does is to recover.

• Go ahead, begin to recover!

• Recover and receive peace, glory, honor, blessings,
riches!
• Recover and receive!

• Recover and receive healing, protection, inheritance,

good names, ideas, opportunities, lines!

Joel 2:18
[17] Then will the LORD be jealous for His

[18] Yea, the LORD will answer…

Thank God for who He is in JESUS mighty name.

• For His faithfulness, thank Him!

• For His Lovingkindness, thank Him!
• For answers to prayers, thank Him!
• For the impact of this fellowship on the world from
today, thank Him!
• For grace, wisdom, and strength, thank Him!
• Thank Him the best way you can as we close!
• Thank Him...

CONCLUSION

Do well to read the whole on Joel 2. You will enjoy new light
from it this time again.
