I stand by my post - Our First Amendment rights of free speech apply to ALL, not just those who

agree with you.

The United States of America is supposed to be the “Land of the Free and the home of the
Brave” but instead cancel-culture has made it feel more like a totalitarian regime.

I have voiced what millions of people are thinking and wish they could say but are “too afraid”
to say.

There is no difference between what I said and what has been said millions of times by Democrat
supporters and politicians for the past five years - the video and printed words exist for all to see
which prove it. The sense of indignation surrounding this is hypocritical. I am standing for
myself, my President and fellow Americans who have been demeaned, censored and cheated for
too long. This is all about principles.

I have been asked by Governor DeWine to resign from my position at the Ohio Arts Council.
Not surprising as Governor DeWine and many “Republicans” like him joined the cancel-culture
a long time ago.  “Canceling” a Board position at a taxpayer funded institution does not cancel
my resolve to fight for what is right.  Ohio citizens who support free speech, who have lost their
businesses, jobs, education, mental health and much more because of draconian COVID
lockdowns may just cancel the Governor in the next election.

This statement serves as my resignation from the Board.

Best,
Susan Allan Block
