1. Installation
Note: This IPcam software is match with all Apexis MPJEG and H264
camera
Before installation, pls kindly turn off your firewall and Antivirus, so
that IPcam software can be install into computer completely and
successfully. Pls don’t worried, the software is safe and won’t bring
any hurt to your computer.
Note: If computer suggest restarting computer before the first usage,
then pls restart computer, then use IPcam software.

2. Introduction of Icons

1.login

Double click the IPcam, you will see the login interface as below,
choose English:

Then enter the username and password. The orginal username is

admin, password also is admin; then click OK to go to the interface:

2. Introduction

In the interface, you can see the 1window to 64 windows

You can see the map function; page up/down; and other Icon, see
below:

: Software supports 1 to 64
windows for recording and viewing. So you can choose 1window,4
windows,9 windows…64 windows you need to view or record.

|: view in full screen;

: page up/down;

: system setting; here you can set: basic settings; user

settings; e-map settings; device list;

: Map settings: pls kindly note that you need to set

the map in your LAN network before using map function.

: lock/unlock the IPCam software;

: to logout the IPCam software;

: to connect/disconnect the IP camera you have set. Pls

kindly note that you need to set the ip camera, and choose the right
window for connecting the ip camera.

: play/stop, to view/stop the real time picture of camera;

: two-way audio, this function is to active the Mic and

Speaker;

: to record/make snapshot;

: this is for the PTZ control;

: this is for the preset position; when you click this

Icon, you can view the position you have preset; note that you need
to preset the position, so that you can use this Icon.

: this is for setting the parameter of IP camera;

: You can choose the type which match with your IP

camera: H.264/MPJEG;if your camera is MPJEG compression, then
you need to choose MPJEG; If your camera is H.264, you need to
choose H.264;

3. How to set
Before use IPcam, pls make sure firmware of your IP camera begin
with: 17.22.2.**

Click , Then you can see ; choose which can

match your IP camera; if your camera is MPJEG compression, then
you can move the move mouse to MJPEG, then right click, then you
choose “Add device”; if your camera with h264 compression, then you
can move the mouse to H264, then right click, choose “add device”
Let’s use MJPEG for example:
After right click MJPEG, you will see:

For your camera is MJPEG, pls choose MJPEG, then Click OK;

After click Search, you can see a dialog box which will show you ip
camera online:

Then the IP camera information will show in the IPcam software:

When you can see the IP camera information: Device Name; IP

address; Port; that means the IPcam Software works well, you need
to enter View Account and View Password you have set(user name
and password), the factory setting View account is admin, no View
password.
Note: you need to set the Port in camera before use the IPcam
Software if you use DDNS to view ;( pls do not use 80 as port, any
number is ok)
If you can not search the IP camera address, which means your
computer IP address can not match with IP camera address.

You need to enter the correct user and password in View Account and
View Password. Then click OK, you will finish settings and see:

Move your mouse to the window you can see your camera name, and
right click, choose Connect, then you can view now, see below:

To add other camera to other windows is the same way.

4.Logout

If you want to logout, you just need to click in the buttom, then
you can see:

Then enter the username and password you have set, the factory
setting: username: admin; password: admin;

After enter username and password, the click OK to logout.
