Human resource management is a contemporary, umbrella term used to describe the management and
development of employees in an organization.Human resource management is an important aspect of every
organization. Every organization, no matter how big or small they are, has a Human Resource Management
department. This department plays an important role in managing the employees of the organization. The
human resources of an organization are an indispensable factor. An organization’s performance is
completely dependent on the performance of their employees. NCC’s HRM department does all sorts of
managerial activities related to employees including but not limited to recruiting, selection, training,
development, benefits. Besides, they look after their employees by providing them with necessary benefits
that comfort them. They also try to retain a good relationship with their both existing and formal employees.
In this report, we talked about NCC bank Ltd. HRM department. We talked about all the managerial
techniques that NCC bank attempts to manage its employees. The workforce in this bank see themselves as
like a family and community that trust in working together for prosperity. The HR department of NCC bank
has a crucial task to recruit and select employees. To recruit employees NCC bank uses external sources.
After collecting CV from applicants NCC bank starts its selection process. At first the CV’s are sorted out
on the basis of some general requirements. Then the applicants go through one written test and two
interviews. NCC bank has very lucrative benefits and compensation policy for their employees. Including
the basic pay, the employees get additional benefits such as: provident fund, medical & car insurance,
festival bonus, paid maternity leave, sick leaves, etc. Overall the HR department of NCC bank is performing
their duty proficiently.

Introduction:
Human resource management or HRM is a significant portion of any running organization. The
HRM process includes: human resource planning, employee remuneration and benefits
administration, performance management, employee relations.We did research about the culture
of interpersonal relationship ,current hr system,implication of SHRM of a well reputed bank and
we prepared this report according to our research as well as visiting the company.
The purpose of doing this report is to understand the HRM process in a well reputed bank deeply
and get an idea about the organization before doing any work with it in near future.

Methodology:

For collecting necessary information we are used both primary and secondary data collection
method.

Background information about the company:

In 1985 national credit card and commerce bank ltd is launching its procession as an investment
company. In 1993, it is arrived as a private commercial bank. It operated through it is 16
branches as an investment company with admirable reputation up to 1992 and now it gained the
clearance of Bangladesh bank to function as a full commercial bank. NCC bank ltd presented in
a way distribute as a flourished and socially promised organization.For the mission the bank
inspires its work force to mobilize capital from among and abroad. In this way it tried to
contributed for improvement of agriculture, industry also socio economy of the country. Through
its 83 section almost all potential place of the country this bank is taking it responsibilities.
Deposit, loan, cards and remittance are the product of NCC bank. On 22 august 2005,NCC bank
opening its visa card. Three categories of card are visa classic, visa gold and visa dual currency
card ( local and global.Credit card service of NCC is obtainable at less interest rate ( 2% pm).
More than 330 financial organizations in the world for giving the people remittance service
maintains by the NCC bank.

Culture of Interpersonal relationship:

NCC bank is a massive organization.They have numerous personnel working under them.This
bank are well reputed for their intense corporate culture. Their corporate culture is mainly
performance-oriented. But most of the cases employees are given tasks that is possible for them
to accomplish. If an employee exceeds expectations he is also rewarded. So, employees are
incentivized to improve themselves. NCC bank also observes if their employees are content with
their work. Workforce of this bank are looking themselves as similar to a family and community
that trust in working together for prosperity.The leadership style is not autocratic. However, in
some emergency situations, the management might assign some extra tasks to the employees.

Current HR system:
To operate a company’s computerized and automated human resource procedure a Human
Resource Management System(HRMS) is a kind of information system which is designed.This is
also acquainted as Human Resource Information System.

Recruitment: Recruitment is the system of searching and attracting efficient candidates for
employment.NCC bank is a banking financial organization which recruits Junior officer and
Management trainee position.But they focuses severely in management trainee programme.They
attracting applicants via exernal sources.They prefer to reveal the job vacancy on their own
website.Though, they also post job circular notice on well-known newspapers and job vacancy
sites. This assist them to reach a huge portion of people.All the requirements,compensation
policy and how candidate have to apply are demonstrated on their vacancy.

Junior officer and Management trainee programme is supervised & conducted by Institute of
Business Administration,Dhaka or Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management(BIBM)

Recommendation
It is an established truth that NCC bank is a well-reputed bank in Bangladesh and also running
successfully in the

Domestic sectors of bank, it has some internal weakness which is written below:

*Employers have to give a clear message to their employees that they have rights to take their
decisions related their work areas independently and can choose their own method of working.

*The promotion opportunity should be increased otherwise turnover rate will be boosted.

*They should also organize award ceremonies to find out the most potential officials,diligent,
sincere folks in the institution and applause him or her for his outstanding performances.

*They have to increase their compensation slightly to keep a competitive image in this leading
banking sector.Adequate compensation they should facilitate benefits so that fewer
compensation is a least bother to employees.

* Supervisor should send a transparent feedback to all.

* Job description should be restructured so that the employees get the scope to apply their talents
and work with immense endeavours.

Conclusion:

NCC Bank Limited is the preferred choice in banking for assuring Excellence in Banking
Services.In future they need to introduce more advanced technology in the banking
sector.According to our research this bank job demand is very high because of their working
environment.HR administrators work according to their tasks to motivate and inspire white-
collar employees by giving them various kinds of benefits but they should also work to improve
blue-collar employees job safety and environments.

Top universities in Bangladesh produce thousands of fresh talented graduates every year. Big
companies like NCC Bank need to step up give chance to join their bank because future creative
ideas will come from them. Lastly, we want to say companies like NCC Bank ,HR administrators
should focus on to ensure on ethical needs and women empowerment in a country like
Bangladesh.
