Mary Holgate has had many interest-
ing ideas over the years on how to evolve

Mary had noticed the gap in ser-
vices in Merritt when it comes to good,
healthy, reasonably-priced home-deliv-
ered meals to seniors. And so, she’s tak-
en it upon herself.
Subscribers to the service receive 20
cooked meals per month, 5 meals de-
livered to their door each Monday. The
meals are packed in take-out containers
that can be frozen & easily reheated. The
cost of $120/month — that’s just $6 per
meal! — is offset by a sponsor matched
up to each subscriber so that they each
pay $60/month. That means each meal
is just $3 to the Senior. That makes stay-
ing home easy, and meals affordable &
assured.

15. As the City changes programs, the pet licencing deadline will be extended to
GC February 28.
