Job Vacancy for Imam (Local Only) 
 
Position: Imam 
Location:  VILAMENDHOO ISLAND RESORT & SPA,  Champa Building 3rd Floor, Malé 20187 Republic of Maldives 
 
Summary of Responsibilities:  
Reporting to the Housing Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:  
• Ensure that Masjid is cleaned before the prayer times  
• To call all regular prayers and perform as Imam at all daily prayers 
• Assist the Friday Prayer Imam 
• Clean the Ablution area and Toilet regularly and maintain cleanliness around Masjid 
• Sweeping, Cleaning Staff Buildings. 
• Gardening and Watering Masjid surrounding area on daily basis. 
 
Qualifications:  
• Must know Quran recitation of Juz UI Amma by heart 
• Should have Maam Certiifcate from Islamic Ministry 
• Maldivian with minimum 2 years of experience in performing Prayers at a Masjid in Maldives
