In harvesters, an improved level of performance is
offered by new EU Stage IV engines in Europe, offer-
ing more torque than ever before, and the double-cir-
cuit hydraulics of PONSSE Ergo implemented with a
faster transmission. PONSSE Beaver in particular has
seen a notable increase in engine power to 150 kW.
With regard to forwarders, the increased trac-
tive force and the more precise feel for the terrain
generate more productivity. Furthermore, engine
performance has been improved – especially in the
four-cylinder PONSSE Elk, Wisent and Gazelle, which
now provide significantly higher power and torque.
Serviceability has been one of the main themes in
the design of the PONSSE Model Series 2015 since
its inception. As a result, service points are eas-
ily accessible – and many have also been equipped
with lights. Selecting only the best components and
developing hydraulic oil filtration, for example, have
resulted in significantly longer maintenance inter-
vals, thus reducing costs and maintenance-related
