 PREFACE

Indian industry is waking up to the challenges thrown in by market economy, policies

and globalization. To survive in this highly competitive scenario, heavy emphasis is laid
on getting to know the customer’s basic needs and keeping abreast with the latest
technology. The collective efforts of both assume relevance in this context.

Airtel’s need to self analyze its position to enter the Bangalore sector plus be aware of
the market scenario and the atmosphere prevailing in jaipur , the tasks need insight
about the ground realities.

Knowledge of market is essential for the development of the product. The needs of the
consumers change very often and so the companies are forced to incorporate these
changes within themselves.

The main purposes of the project are following:
