Unemployment Insurance Ignored 2-19-11

The uneven side of a democratic society, is some what different then what may have been
in the United States Founding Fathers vision for the New World that the United States
once was.
The fact of the need for visionaries and those who could speak and put forth what needed
to be said and laid before Americans then and Americans today, could be the deciding
factor of what happens over the next 5, 10 and maybe20 years into the future.
It is what today’s Americans have chosen to forget and leave out of their view of what
the right of voting, the freedom of choice and a fair electoral process that gives way to the
voice of what people at any given time think they want in a democratic nation.
The voice and choice of the American Founding is simple, that in comparison to various
other styles of government that were around in the 1700’s. A group of people stood up
for what they thought was the greater need for the advancement of people during that
time period, was more about freedom of choice and rights born with in the right of having
a government and government representation in the first place.
The fact that people vote is just the symbolic significance of how people are chosen to
lead at different levels of government. But it is still in the governmental society in the
United States, that has up held it self under the rights of the people. The fact of today is
the fact that nations all over the world have faced, are facing right now and can be
expected to face in the future.
What if the people of a given democratically governed nation change the way they view
the over all political system and as part of their voice and then decided to change it?
This of course is what voting and rights are all about.
But never believe, that the wars of man and the fights of humanity through time, were
brawn out of frivolous arguments only of merit to the uncivilized populations of a world
that was then a very different world then we live in today.
It has been stated in many places with out naming any specific location, that many
societies through the ruins of their past and even written fact, have been seen as very
advanced and that to this day some things that were achieved during those some what
primitive times cannot fully be understood why and how certain feats were accomplished.
This is a well know fact and the theory of what we have learned through the worlds best
minds about many time periods in the history of human kind on this earth.
It has also been contributed by various reasons that are bits and pieces of forensic, written
and artifact evidence, that these same advanced forward thinking people and their
societies at some point did destroy their own way of life that’s cause in each case is not
clearly known or understood.
It is in such a saying as, ”That the world is but a stage.” That reaches to the real heart of
what might make people tick and a good part of this is the need for drama and big talk
and dreams, that can build up societies to grab on and take hold of the something that can

just be a simple ideal, that is often found at the beginning of a new society or at the cross
roads of great social change.
In today’s world especially from a domestic view of a nations domestic affairs citing the
USA. The bigger problem is, the greater dream has died and smaller clips of individual
need that can be bore out of a one person one vote philosophy has grown today into a
nation of very selfish and self center people.
People that yes some worked hard, some worked until they dropped, some got lucky
other got unlucky, some were lazy and did ok some were lazy and failed.
But it is also the part of freedom and the one-person, one vote and every thing else that
the liberty of a free world like the USA would have to be inclined to see in its people, in
order to be truly free as was our nations doctrines highest purpose and long term
intention. That did not include unemployment insurance or food stamps, cobra health
insurance, Medicaid, welfare, SSI, medical benefits and even old age retirement money.
All the things that people keep saying how hard they worked for, but all in one sense or
another are handouts and not really part of the original American Dream.
So why have them at all?
Well there would be so many people that might say just for their own personal
preference, “Lets just pick one or two or three and end this only there because losing
those hand outs only this would not effect me personally.”
But that is really the problem that lawmakers and those who have to lead us are having
from with in.

Their own interpretation of what is:

The common good of the People
The common good of the Individual
The common good of the Government

People
The common good of the people is to be good citizens, do the best they can to work
together and even help out when needed. A statement that is proven by simply, “The
existence of a peace time military that doesn’t pay the best, but the government is always
asking people to give up their individual right to serve every one else even if they could
lose their life doing this.” It does not stop the conflict that Americans have died in the on
going military confrontations for the common good of the USA.
That is seen as a duty once someone volunteers.
The United States Government also runs some very convincing commercials, that taking
such a risk for low pay is the right thing to do.
It is for the common good that every one get vaccinated, it is the common good that laws
are not broke at different levels and based on what you get caught and convicted of doing
if this applies, the government will see the common good to pay a good deal of money to
get you a fair trial and if convicted a lot more will be spent to lock you up even if you
only hurt some one for lets say $10.
You could spend years in jail for assault depending on how bad it was and to what
member of society.

Some one robbed their cousin; same age height with no weapon and gave him a
black eye for $10. Maybe he gets probation for the $10.
Some one robs an old person and the same force as the black eye above breaks
this old persons jaw.
This person may have to go to jail for a few years for the very same one punch.

It is here seen as the common good for every one else and worth the price,

Individual
The individual has rights to due process, be treated in a fair manor free from prejudice.
His property protected and he has a personal right to exist. He has an ability to have kids
or not kids, drive a car not drive a car and many other things are in place that are an
individuals right to carry out.
It is also the individual right and responsibility to pay taxes and if you make less$$$, you
pay less tax and if you make more $$$ you will end up paying more tax.
So let say, The majority voted that because those who make less $$$, contribute less
because the make less, they buy less, so their economic importance is less then everyone
else and the majority voted that the poor should pay 80% of their income for tax because
a popular vote made this out come.
From a bill to a law it was decided that those who make fewer than $25,000 a year no
matter how big the family size should pay 80% of their income to taxes.
How might that affect every one else?
In some ways it would not affect any one but those who fit into this now hypothetical
poor over taxed group.

Government
But it is the government’s job and the real facts of what people vote about, to recognize
what the common good is and apply such a greater understanding to all things.
To see people that are somewhat educated, of decent moral and civil character and
various other defining traits are the eligible and popular candidate for the given position.
It is also the same train of thinking that we have unemployment insurance or food stamps,
cobra health insurance, Medicaid, welfare, SSI, medical benefit and even old age
retirement.
It is the exact same fabric of what changed from 1776 into the 1900’s and the government
saw this need to ensure the common good and general welfare of all people in this nation.
Is it fair?
Is it right to some one who works hard to see some one who doesn’t and they believe they
are getting a free ride?
But this is the case, but it is also not what people decided in their vote.
What people want today is the more deep-rooted problem All Elected Officials are
getting from their constituents. The need and want of the blood, the head and the food out
of the mouth of other Americans many who are only doing what the government has said
was the best thing to do. Instead of looking at each case and the families and children that
could be involved, what ever would they do if this was not the case and unemployment
insurance or food stamps, cobra health insurance, Medicaid, welfare, ssi, medical benefits
and even old age retirement just disappeared and did not exist?

The common good has been up held, but if as Politicians you cannot see or stand to look
such people back in the eye and say with in your redrick but maybe not directly, “No
matter what you as fellow Americans say about your vote, your right, your
freedom that certain issues are the common good for all Americans and it is
you that don’t want change but actually to change the in place government
called a democracy into something else.”
Then many must today know the beginning of what is really changing in America
and this change has already begun.

And maybe you should listen more closely to what so many critics in media and other
fellow Americans are saying, that something is wrong and most do not want to simply
give away this county because some Politicians can simply put those who are really
asking this nation to violate the rights of their neighbor down the road or in the next town
to grow up, get over it and become civilized Americans based on all that free grade
schooling every one in this nation got.
Because what this would really represent to every body even those who think this will be
the answer as so many fallen societies of the long time yester year can be assumed
thought the same way too.
Maybe we all in a few years will find out why societies of the past may have witnessed so
many fallen civilizations so many times.
But the human species can always adapt and from the bottom of the pyramid all the way
to the top, if such adversity has been going on for so long and no one has said a word
who then will win?

Those who fight for change in silence or those who see them doing this?

It’s your America and it’s my America too, may the best one
win!
