ALA WAI WATERSHED FLOOD RISK MANAGEMENT PROJECT

A new Engineering Documentation Report from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers makes design changes and adds
new features to the Ala Wai Watershed Flood Risk Management Project. Army Corps says the changes focus on
evacuating water in the upper reaches of the watershed valleys without detaining it, which lessens impact on
residential properties and natural streams.
