7. Communication Skills

The basis for smooth operations is good communications between parties

(customer/co-worker). As an agent of ERAC, professional and clear communication
is of high importance.
At High Sierra, environment was stifled so my production was effected as was the
shops leading me to see the difference at other companies. My second duty station in
the Navy was run using effective means of communication. A problem comes up such
as the canopies of the F-18 being left open after completion of the work day. Part of
my duties as a watch stander for the Strike Fighter Weapons School was to ensure the
proper handeling of these multi million dollar pieces of equipment. When a situation
like this happened, I was responsible for taking this to task and seeing it was
corrected however: it was not my responsibility to blow up or accuse a co-worker of
something he may not had responsibility for. The Navy is a business just like
Enterprise and I can bring that level of responsibility to this company and the
communication skills necessary to conduct our business.
8. Honesty and Integrity
For the last two years of my service it was necessary for me to hold a Secret clearance
and along with that comes an incredible responsibility and the Navy’s assurance that
you will uphold the highest standards of honesty and integrity.

My motto “Do it right even if it takes a little longer”

9. Teamwork Skills
10. Interpersonal Skills
11. Motivation and Initiative
12. Strong Work Ethics
13. Analytical Skills
14. Flexibility/Adaptability
Navy nature of job, looking for best option given circumstances. Looking outside of
standard and what you have always done for the answer nobody thought of.
15. Computer Skills, Navy, school,
16. Self Confidence
17. Research – industry, products, people
