Skill Test for Data Entry Operators:
a) The Skill Test will be taken on computers.
b) The 'Data Entry Speed' Skill Test would be qualifying in nature. Candidates allowed to take this
test, will have to qualify the test at the prescribed speed on computer, to be provided by the
Commission or the agency authorized by the Commission to conduct such Skill Test at the centre
/venue so notified.
c) None of the candidates including PH candidates who qualify in the written part of the exami-
nation will be exempted from the skill test as passing of the skill lest is precondition and one of the
essential qualifications for appointment to the post of Data Entry Operator,
d) Only such candidates who qualify in the skill test.at a speed of not less than 8,000 key
depressions per hour will be eligible for being recommended for appointment as per their position
in the merit list.
e) The duration of the said skill test will be 15 (fifteen) minutes and printed matter in English
containing about 2,000 key depressions would be given to each candidate who would enter the
same in the computer.
Skill Test for LDC:
a) The skill test will be taken on computers.
b) Typing test will be qualifying in nature and will be conducted only in English or in Hindi.

2. Conditions of eligibility : (a) He/she must be a citizen of India and permanent resident of Keonjhar District.
(b)He/she must be below 32 years and over twenty years of age on the first day of January, 2011. The upper
age limit shall be relaxed by 05 years in case of SC, ST, SEBC and Women candidates. (c)(i) He/she must
have possessed a Bachelor Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce or equivalent examination from a recognized
University for the post of Revenue Inspector. (ii) He/she must have passed H.S.C. Examination conducted
by Board of Secondary Education, Orissa or an equivalent examination for the post of Asst. Revenue
Inspector. (d) He/she must be of good character and shall furnish alongwith the application, a certificate of
good character from the Head of the Institution in which he last studied. (e) He/she must be of sound health,
good physique and active habits and free from organic defects, physical and mental infirmity and must qualify
in the test of physical fitness indicated below. (f) He/she must not be having more’than one spouse living. (g)
He/she must be able to speak, read and write Oriya and must have passed the High School Certificate
Examination or an equivalent examination through the Oriya medium. (h) He/she must have registered his/her
name in any Employment Exchange in the district of Keonjhar on or before the date of submission of
application, (i) He/she must not have been debarred from appearing in any other competitive examination or
from holding Govt, service as ordered by any competent authority. 3.(a) Physical Test: A Candidate (a) must
not be less than 160 centimetres in case of UR & SEBC category and 155 centimetres in case of ST & SC
category in height and 80 centimetres round the chest (b) must know cycling and swimming to qualify the
physical fitness test. (b) Written Test: Candidates who qualify the physical fitness test shall be eligible to
appear in the written test comprising papers namely (a) Airthmetic -100 marks (b.) Handwriting in Oriya - 50
marks. 4. No application except in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category shall be considered unless
it is accompanied by TREASURY CHALLAN showing payment of Rs. 75/- (Seventy Five) only in Govt.
