51 47 151 Removal and installation /

replacement of left wheel
arch trim (touring)

Remove the left or right rear side window shaft inner molding

see 51 37 261.

Release screws (1).

Remove support (2) for luggage compartment cover.

Hook cover (1) through cutout and remove from lashing lugs.

Unfasten screws (1) and remove fastening lugs (2).

Remove the rivet (2).

Lift the socket out at the cover (1) and pull it out towards the center
line of the vehicle.

Disconnect plugs (1) and (2) and remove socket (2).

Disconnect the wire (1).

Detach fastener (2) from locating pin (3) and remove wheel arch trim
(4).

Replacement only:

Remove speaker cover (1).

Unscrew the lock washers (2).

Disconnect the socket holder (3) from the wheel arch trim (5).

Do not damage the guide (4).
