After reading about both the target companies and getting the idea about their principles and

ideologies, it would be better in our opinion to go for TasteMate as:

1. Both, the immediate and long-term goals of TasteMate and FeedMe are same and resonating in
nature. Both want to deliver ready-to-eat food to their consumers and both want to have the
best quality and service facilities so as to maximize customer satisfaction.

2. TasteMate although with a great business model and customer catering is not able to get in
touch with the high-end restaurants thus is kind of undervalued right now and it would be really
advisable to get hold of the company as soon as possible.

3. After merging with FeedMe, it could get the opportunity to tap into high end restaurants and
simultaneously, the high-income consumers thus helping FeedMe in growing inn the food
delivery business at a great pace. (If it showed decent profit margins with just the local
restaurants, it could do great with high-end restaurants once it gets the high-income consumers
in the list.)

4. It has a decent market share (greater than EatHub and other competitors) thus making it an
acquirable target in the aspect of greater reach.

5. It has its presence in Central America which would be much close to the eastern belt where
FeedMe already has a strong grip. Thus, by acquiring TasteMate, FeedMe can get a grip of half of
America with a strong interlink and supply chain distribution.

6. TasteMate has a license of serving Liquor which could mean a great asset for FeedMe as it can
use this tool to increase it’s reach and distribution on more occasions. (It can tap into serving
meals and drinks for special events as well along with the normal meal orders.)

The reason why we did not go for EatHub is:

1. It does not want to serve ready-to-eat meals and thus acquiring it would be a hostile takeover
and forcing them to do so would create tension and discoordination between the companies
which might lead to negative results.

2. It has its presence in the far western region of the country which would make it very difficult for
coordinated running of both the companies and information exchange.

3. Also, both regions would have different consumer behaviour and a conflict in vision and mission
of the two companies might lead to below the expectation performance of the company.

4. EatHub has a smaller market share than TasteMate and a target with larger market share with
common goals and vision should be preferred over the one that has different goals and mission.
*FeedMe can establish an administrative department to cater to the hygiene requirements of its
consumers and to keep in check the overall quality of food being delivered to the consumers.

*The department can have various sub-departments each of which could look after the different
stages of the food preparation and delivery process.(for eg- a group of people for checking the
quality of raw material, another for the cooking process, another for the packaging and delivery
process etc. The food will get delivered after it has passed the evaluation of all these stages.)

*It can film a documentary or "behind the scenes video" which shows the entire process of cooking
i.e from raw material collection to delivery of the food thus, showcasing the overall and specific
hygiene and quality standards that are being maintained by the staffs. This documentary can be
uploaded on social medias and television ads so as to deliver the message to people that FeedMe
delivers standard and quality food.

*The company can work on the hygiene standards and policies of the company, thus, making it
compulsory for the staff to maintain the necessary quality and cleanliness of the service.

*FeedMe can also obtain various certificates after quality checkups from recognized authorities and
can showcase them in there ads, documentaries and social media handles so as to make their
consumers believe in the quality and standard of their food and service.
