Installation

• Microsoft Windows Vista and above provides a driver-free installation.

Plug the wireless USB dongle into a spare USB port. Windows will
recognise the new device and it will be ready to use within a few
seconds.
• Microsoft Windows XP will also install the driver automatically when the
USB dongle is plugged in. However it will take a little longer to complete
and may require the PC to be restarted.
• Mac OS X may install a driver when the USB dongle is plugged in.
However it will recognise it as a keyboard device and ask you to press a
shift key. Simply ignore this step.
• To use the software keyboard (in the lower extended digitiser area) you
must first install the keyboard manager software on the CD. Insert the CD
into you computer and follow the on-screen instructions.

2. Press and hold the On/Off button on the RM ePadTM for 1 to 2 seconds

the wireless dongle.
4. If the dongle cannot be located, the RM ePad will switch off after a few
seconds.

force the pairing of the two devices. Press both buttons for 10 seconds
for pairing.
6. Touch the pen to the RM ePad writing area (digitiser) to bring the pen
out of standby. The pen can then be used to control the cursor position
on the computer.
7. Move the pen within 1” of the digitiser surface for it to locate the pen
position.
8. Press the pen lightly onto the digitiser to simulate a "left-click", or press
the buttons on the side of the pen for "right-click" or "centre-click"

button.
Do not under any circumstance point the laser at anyone's eyes.
