Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:

Week No. 1 CRO, Function Generator and Measurement of Voltage, Current & Resistance in a Basic
DC Circuit

Week No. 2 Color Coding techniques for resistance value estimation and Verification of Ohm’s Law

Week No. 3 Resistance in Series, verification of Voltage Division and Power in a Series circuit

Week No. 4 Resistance in Parallel, verification of Current Division and Power in a Parallel circuit
Star-Delta Transformation, Power dissipation, rating, conservation in resistive circuit.

Variable Resistor-characteristics, types and applications

Week No. 6 Verification of Mesh Analysis and Nodal Analysis in a resistive circuit

Week No. 7 Circuit Analysis in software environment

Week No. 8 Verification of Source transformation and Superposition Principle

Week No. 9 Verification of Thevenin & Norton Theorem

Week No. 10 Investigation of RC circuit and it’s transient studies

Week No. 11 Investigation of RL circuit and it’s their transient studies
