There is no such perfect thing, all you have to do is to keep it balanced. If I would rate my own wellness in terms of the eight dimensions, I would be non-hesitant to give myself an average rate of blank over 10. Given different circumstances, there are factors I have considered that made me derive to my claim.
In terms of my Physical Wellness, I believe I have control over my body,
over my health. I will not deny that there are times wherein I got out of control, but I try my best to be back and stay on track. Being physically well does not only necessarily mean that I am to do some exercises to get in shape. It also includes different activities that will overall give you a satisfaction physically. As I was not able to exercise take proper care of myself for a couple of months already, I believe that a rate of 7 out of 10 will best suit my Physical Wellness. In terms of my Emotional Wellness, I can say that this pandemic, particularly the fact that we have to undergo quarantines and postpone family gathering affected me bigtime. The environment itself was very stressful but the virus added fuel to the flame. Up until now, it was hard for me to process and accept the fact that we have to acquaint ourselves with the new normal. As time goes by, I am positive that I can improve my emotions and adjust myself in accordance with what is happening around me. Overall, same as my physical wellness, I’d like to give this a 7 out of 10. In relation with my Social Wellness, my circle was not that big. I am friends with a lot of people, but only a little percent of my circle would be willing to join me with my battles. I do not blame them. In fact, it is me at fault. I have not experienced it, yet I am afraid of rejection and disappointments, so I do not even consider making the first move. However, I do not lack much confidence as I grew up in a big family. They taught me how to socialize, but still there is this feeling that bothers me. I am blessed to have my family and friends, and more blessed that I get to create friendship virtually. I know I can work it out, so I am giving my Social Wellness an 8 out of 10. Stated above are the three dimensions which I found weakness in. I can consider the rest to be rated at least 9 to 10 because even though there is a big difference in my lifestyle before the pandemic hit, I can still manage my Intellectual, Environmental, Spiritual, and Financial Wellness. I excluded the Occupational Wellness because I do not have any job at the moment, but I am positive I am doing well in my Financial Wellness as my parents discuss to me our expenditures and where our family money is spent so I could learn and handle our soon finances all by myself in the future. I do believe that as I get to progress, I can keep things balanced and in line. Sooner or later, I will be able to assess and consider myself full of satisfaction as I get to say that ii am completely well in terms of the eight dimensions, with the full guidance of our Creator. 2.
