TECHNICIAN

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Attending, preventive / corrective / breakdown / turnaround maintenance in the

Plant.

• Enforce sefety regulations.

• Estimate project costs and timelines.

• Attending all Maintenance (Routine and breakdown) is completed and recorded

accurately and clearly
• Performs installation and alignment of equipment such as pumps, compressors,

gas turbines, static equipments etc, and using relevant tools.

• Knowledge to Identify potential sources of hazard prior to dismantling.

• Able to communicate using telephone, computer, direct conversation and writing.

• Can Provides maintenance information by answering questions and requests.

• Controls subcontracted discipline engineering documents.

• Be fully conversant with the drawings, specifications and procedures relevant to

the mechanical department.

• Installs, removes repairs mechanical spare parts like bearing seals

on typical mechanical equipments.

• Performs major overhaul of equipment with or without external contractors and

vendors.

• Works on various equipment in the plant as well as in workshop.

• Identifies and reports requirement of spare parts 6nd recommends its use on

repair or replacement basis.

• Checks and verifies tools, spares and other materials for conformity with the

older for is acceptance and fitness for use on arrival of items.

• Check and verifies the compliance of works executed by the contractors for its

completion and technical acceptability.

• Attends group safety meeting, conducts safety talk to the crew and conducts
