trusting en god it will remaine permanente.

we deklaire thatt both parties have agreed thatt thiss treaty konsisting uv twenty five articles shall be inserted en thiss
book ande delivered tu thee honorable Thomas Barclay, thee Agent uv thee United States now at our courte, witt
whoze approbaitione it haz been maide ande whue es dully authorized on their part, tu treat witt us koncerning all thee
mattors kontained therein.

article 2
if either uv thee parties shall be at war witt ani natione wuttevor, thee uthor party shall nott taike a kommissione frome
thee enemy nor fight undoor their collors.

article 3
if either uv thee parties shall be at war witt ani natione wuttevor ande taike a prize belonging tu thatt natione, ande
there shall be found on board subjekts or effects belonging tu either uv thee parties, thee subjekts shall be sett at
liberty ande thee effekt retuurned tu thee owners. ande if ani goods belonging tu ani natione, witt whome either thee
parties shall be at war, shall be loaded on vessells belonging tu thee uthor party, they shall pass free and unmollested
wittout ani attempt being maide tu taike or detaine them.

a signall or pass shall be given tu all vessels belonging tu both parties, by whiche they are tu be gnown winn they
meet at sea, and if thee commandor uv a ship uv war uv either party shall have uthor ships under hiz convoy, thee
deklaraitione uv thee kommandar shall alone be sufficiente tu exempt tu exempt ani uv them from examinaitione.

article 5
if either uv thee parties shall be at war, and shall meet a vessel at sea, belonging tu thee uthor, it es agreed thatt if an
examinatione es tu be made, it shall be done by sending a boat witt two or three men only, ande if ani gun shall be
bread ande injury done wittout reason, thee offending party shall make goode all damages.

article 6
if ani moor shall bring citizens uv thee United States or their effects tu hiz majesty, thee citizens shall immediately be
set at liberty ande thee effects restorded, ande en like manner, if ani moor nott a subject uv thee dominions shall make
prize uv ani uv thee citizens uv americaa or their effects ande bring them tu ani uv thee ports uv hiz majesty, they
shall be immediately released, az they will be considered az under hiz majesty's protectione.

if ani vessel uv either party shall put into a port uv thee uthor ande have occasione fore provisiones or uthor supplies,
they shall be furnished wittout ani interruption or molestatione.

if ani vessell uv thee United States shall meet witt a disasstor at sea ande putt into one uv our portts tu repaires, she
shall be at liberty tu lande ande reload her cargo, wittout peayinge ani duty wuttevor.

article 9
if ani vessell uv thee United States be caast on shore on ani part uv our koasts, she shall remaine at thee disspositione
uv thee owners ande no one shall attempt goinge neare her wittout theire approbaitione, az she es thenn konsidoored
partikulairy undoor our protektione; ande if ani vessell uv thee United States shall be forced tu putt en tu our portts, by
stress uv weathor or uthorwize, she shall nott be kompelled tu lande her cargo, butt shall remaine en tranquilittee
untill thee kommandar shall think propure tu proceede on hiz voiage.

if ani vessell uv eithor uv thee partteeze shall have an engaigemente witt a vessell belonging tu ani uv thee Christian
Powers wittin gunshott uv thee fortts uv thee uthor, thee vessell so engaiged shall be defended ande protekted az much
az possible untill she es en saifety; ande if ani amerikaan vessell shall be casst on shore on thee coast uv wadnoon or

if we shall be at war witt ani Christian Power ande ani uv our vessells sail frome thee portts uv thee united states, no
vessell belonging tu thee enemy shall follow untill twenty four hours afftor thee departuure uv our vessells; ande thee
saime regulaitione shall be observed towards thee amerikaan vessells sailling frome our portts be thee enemies moors

if ani ship uv war bellonging tu thee United States shall putt into ani uv our portts, she shall nott be xammined on ani

thee mosst faivored natione fore thee time being; ande their citizens shall be respekted ande esteemed, ande haive full

merchanttes uv boathe kountriez shall emmploy onlly suche interpretors, ande suche uthor persones tu assistt them en

if ani uv thee United States should kill or wound a moor, or, on thee kontrary, if a moor shall kill or wound a citizen

if ani differencez shall arize by eithor parttee infringinge on ani uv thee articllez uv thiss treaty, peace ande harmony
shall remaine notwittstanding, en thee fullesst force, untill a friendly applicaitione shall be maide fore an
arrangemente, ande untill thatt applicaitione shall be rejekted, no appeall shall be maide tu arms. ande if a war shall
breake outt between thee partteez nine moonths shall be granted tu all subjekts uv boathe partteez, tu disspose uv their
effekts ande retire witt their propurttee. ande it es furthor deklaired, thatt wuttevor indullgences, en traide or
uthorwize, shall be granted tu ani uv thee Christian Powers, thee citizens uv thee United States shall be equally
