1. Explain the statement that ‘’fire is the greatest danger aboard ship’’
 Fire is the greatest danger aboard ship means fire on the ship can be fatal if it can not
handle it.

2. Why we must act suddenly if the fire is detected?

 If we detect the fire,smell,fumes operate the nearest fire warning system and we must
prepare the fire fighting and use it to estinguish the fire.

3. Why is the use of naked light or open fire strictly prohibited?

 Because if we use the naked light or open fire strictly prohibited it’s very danger and
effect the fire

4. Where are the lifejackets kept?

 The lifejackets kept in our cabins under the bed

 Act in accordance with the emergency plan means act according to emergency
procedures what to do, and equipment preparation.

2. Why we must don (put on) the protective clothing and breathing apparatus?
 Because when we don the protective clothing and breathing apparatus it will make us
more safety if we face emergency plan especially wildfire

3. Why we must ventilate the holds thoroughly?

 Because ventilate the holds thoroughly fume can be rushed out of the room
immediately and the fire extinguisher can use the window as access to water to put
out the fire

4. What are the things must do to the injured person?

 We must do to take the injured person to safe area and give first aid to injured persons
remove and get rid of clothing

5. Why we must alter course for the nearest port?

 In the nearest port we have check the proper separation of goods and stow infected
good away from accomodation
