 Music is an important part of community interactions and should therefore be

treated as an important core curriculum in schools.

 All children are born with the capacity to be able musicians through the proper
guidance.

 All children can sing in tune and only have differences in the tone of their voice
and vocal range. Active listening and replicating builds this skill.

 The children will only realize their musical potential though the instruction of
their musical instructors. It is important to use certain musical ideas and
techniques in order to maximize allotted time and provide a good education.

 The idea that some children are born more musically talented is a myth and
negatively affects how people view music education.

 An effective way to teach music to kids was the learning-by doing approach of
having them listen and repeat. This taught general music literacy by using the
senses to understand before learning the theory.

 It is important to remember that music is a way to express yourself especially for

the children that will be initially learning for fun. The innovations and spread of
information a can also be too much for children and music can serve as a place to
forget and relax.

 Technology is becoming more integrated into everyday life and teachers will need
to reevaluate things that can be called or seen as distractions for young children.

 Have confidence that you are a musician before music teacher whose experiences
as a performer give plenty of wisdom to share.

science, did the United states fall behind in this regard? If so, why?
