Sharks

Sharks are cartilaginous fish, their skeletons are made of

cartilage and not bones. There are over 300 types of sharks in the
ocean.
They inhabit the waters around the world, they are known to be
great predators. To hunt use their strong jaws composed of 15
rows of pointed teeth, they have great speed and strength.
They are able to detect pressure changes in the water as well as
the movement of other animals at long distances. The sense of
smell also helps them to hunt prey easily. Sharks are
carnivorous, feed mainly on molluscs, jellyfish, corals, fish
larvae, squid, seals, sea lions, turtle dolphins and seabirds.
Sharks have very few natural predators.
