1. Difficult Concepts (What concepts did you find difficult to understand?)

i. The part where Martin Heidegger said that a technology is an instrument.

2. Insights (What new insights or learning did you gain in discussion/ activity?)

i. Before reading the article, I thought that the technology is just a simple thing like gadgets.
However, reading the article, I now realize that technology also has different forms and I
discover that technology has an effect in our well-being, it has advantage but it also has a
disadvantage for us humans.
ii. Before reading the article, I thought that it is okay to be obsess with technology However,
reading the article, I now realize that it is not okay to be obsess with technology because we
humans, with too much use of technology, we forget to socialize with other and we forget
that we are all interconnected, we lost unity which is the most important thing in our society.

iii. Before reading the article, I thought that technology is very helpful to us humans However,
reading the article I now realize that technology is also harmful to us, because as we live our
lives every day, we tend to forget the real meaning of life. We value technology more than
ourselves. There comes a time that we did not notice that we are destroying not just ourselves
but also the environment with our too much use of technology.
