RESOLUTION NO. 11-02

“A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM THE OFFICE OF THE

CONGRESSMAN HON. PAOLO EVERARDO S. JAVIER TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS
AMOUNTING TO ONE MILLION PESOS (P1,000,000.00) FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF COVERED COURT OF BARANGAY AROBO, TOBIAS FORNIER, ANTIQUE.”

WHEREAS, the barangay has an existing plaza usually serves as place for social occasions
and venue for sports activities;

WHEREAS, non-roofing of barangay plaza could give feeling of discomfort on the part of the
constituents while holding such activity/occasions due to unpredictable weather condition.

WHEREAS, the possible materialization of this project will form as one of the sources of
barangay revenues.

WHEREAS, the 20% development of Barangay IRA funds is insufficient to finance the
proposed project.

NOW THEREFORE, on motion made by Kagawad Florita P. Egualan and duly seconded by
Kagawad Jeffrey P. Villodres, be it

RESOLVED AS IT HEREBY RESOLVED, to request financial assistance from the Office of the
Congressman Hon. Paolo Everardo S. Javier to appropriate funds amounting to One Million Pesos for
Construction of Covered Court of Barangay Arobo, Tobias Fornier, Antique.

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copy of this resolution the Sangguniang Bayan members, the
Office of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Office of the Municipal
Accountant, and Congressman Hon. Paolo Everardo S. Javier for their information and guidance.

APPROVED, by the Barangay Council of Barangay Arobo, Tobias Fornier, Antique by a vote of
eight (8) in favor and none against at the Regular Session held on January 02, 2011, at 2:00 o’clock
in the afternoon at the Barangay Session Hall.
