Title: A study of series compensated transmission line by using the ABCD parameters in MAT LAB/
SIMULATION LAB program.

Size: 5 members Role: Project member

Description: The capacitive effect of the line under no load light load condition is grater in
uncompensated lines than those of the series compensated lines generally in the power frequency over
voltage. To sum up the compensating elements are provided to improve the system stability, voltage
control and increase the efficiency of utilization of power transmission. It also facilitates line tenderization
and reduces temporary and transient over voltages.
