Case 2: RUDY AND FRANKIE: To Different Worlds

I. Statement of the Problem

A. The situation commenced when Rudy and Frankie were classmates in their basic
years. Frankie is more clever than Rudy in academics, Frankie relies solely on being an
accountant to earn money, he doesn't think of different ways to earn bigger income.

II. Objectives

1. To inform that in the middle of difficulty lies a great opportunity if you have back
up plans.
2. To inform that great things never come from comfort zones.

III. Facts about the case

1. Frankie graduated in University of Sto. Tomas as Certified Public Accountant.

2. Rudy quit on his college during the second year.
3. Rudy and Frankie were classmates in their elementary years.

IV. Alternative solution

1. Frankie must not hinge only on his profession to make money but instead should
have his own business so that he could earn higher than his salary and he could
invest to the business of Rudy.
2. Reception, lower down his conceit and replace that resentment inside with
delight with his friend’s success.
3. Endure their friendship and set aside the variances between them so that they
can work pleasantly and achieve a common goal.

V. Recommendation
1. As previously known that Frankie is more intelligent than Rudy during their
elementary years then it is presumed that Frankie can come up to more bright ideas for
the successful career like in business. Since he is also a certified public accountant and
finished his business course then he could venture to many possible business ideas. He
can put more products to sell aside from what Rudy is selling. With the knowledge on
calculating income and background on the business world then it would be more
impossible for Frankie to be more successful than Rudy.

2. Frankie should start to lower down his pride and accept that he needs some
conversation with somebody with the experience like Rudy. He should be more positive
in life by removing envy and being jealous to the success of other people.

3. To expand the business means communicating to other people on same trade. There
should be a harmonious conversations and exchange of ideas and experience and in this
case Rudy and Frankie should set aside their differences and forget about what other
issues they have as to whoever is more successful. So here, the ultimate goal is to move
forward and continue expanding in the business world with no limitations and barriers
emotionally.
