and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Why garlic and olive oil? Recent
scientific studies suggest the Mediterranean diet may protect the
heart, the nervous system, enhance the body's immune system,
and more. Aristophanes in 375 B.C., describing the Greek diet,
said that two of the healthiest foods were garlic and olive oil.
Garlic breath? Chew on a piece of parsley or suck on a coffee
bean.
