Before starting the class, the professor(s) will welcome students to the Fifth lesson
and he/she will ask students about the knowledge acquired in the previous lesson,
students will talk about some of their likes and dislikes to have a brief interaction

vocabulary.

In order to familiarize the students with the topic and to catch their attention, the
professor will show pictures about day – to- day activities such as wake up, get up, Youtube:

Continuing with the explanation of the “Present Simple'', the teacher will take into estruba/presen
account its implementation, structure and verb conjugations; t-simple-

The following sentences will be presented to explain the structure of the topic:

And the verb conjugation will be shown taking into account the third person:

In the first part, the professor will employ slides to have a better organization of
the class, these slides will let the students have a summary of the topic and for him
or her to explain the topic clearly always trying to include the students in it.
Besides, the teacher will give to students a word document in which there will be
the whole topic with explanation, examples and sources, with this document
students can review the topic whenever they want.

For the second part, the professor will ask students about examples taking into
account the topic, at the same time, the teacher will present sentences
accompanied with images that students have to complete with the correct verb
conjugation, this with the objective to interact with the language and to
communicate with each other.

Finally, To have a better understanding and to clear any doubt students could
have about the “Present Simple”, teachers will use an explanatory video in which a
short and easy explanation with examples will be evidenced. Given that the video
is in English, the teacher will let the students watch the video and ask any question
they might have.

Activities To put in practice, the “Present Simple” students will develop the following Dictionary:

A reading activity; the students have to read an email or letter written by someone
to a friend or relative talking about their daily routine. The students answer
questions about it.

He drinks some tea.
4) What kind of activity does he do in the morning?

The letter is addressed for his friend Salim.
The second activity is a written activity; the students should write a letter or email
to a pen pal describing what they do on a common day and what their hobbies are.
For both activities, the students will practice their speaking skill by answering the
questions from the reading and reading their texts. In order to develop an accurate
written activity the students will be provided the format of an informal letter or
email or they can follow the format of the text in the reading activity.
For the development of this activity students will have the opportunity to use a
virtual dictionary which will help them with unknown vocabulary or verbs.
However, the teacher will be attentive to help them with the texts.

Homework:
Besides, the teacher will give students homework to submit in a given date with
the purpose to practice the acquired knowledge. In this way, students will present Reading
Closure the routine or hobbies of one person of their house, they will write it using 10 min Quizziz
sentences or a text, as they prefer. writing
Finally, the professor will thank students for being present and for participating in
the class.
