III. LESSON PRESENTATION

Lesson Focus: The importance of patriotism

Value for the Lesson: Justice, concern for the common good

Justice includes the notion of upholding the law, as in the work of police, judges and the court. Behind the concept of justice
lies the notion of balance- that people get what is right, fair and appropriate. Concern for the common good is the sum of the good of
all that goes beyond time, space and barriers.
We Filipinos are looked up to by Asian neighbors and Western countries for our discipline, dedication to work, honesty, and
expertise in the field of governance, science, technology, and even in sports.

We, in turn, take pride in our country. We have leaders who are noble, honest, and moved by the desire of genuine service.
We are proud of our rich cultural heritage and we are inspired by our heroes who fought and died for our freedom. Despite lapses on
governance, we strive as a nation to the best Filipinos that we can be.

This lesson will guide you in identifying ways by which you can deepen love for country through the practice of acts of
patriotism.

Most Filipino today is discriminating fellow Filipino for fun, they always keep bubling just to get attention we should be
more focus on ourselves and become one instead of detesting each other, hating himself because of being Filipino. We should
be proud of ourselves and become one to help each other, Our land is slowly getting destroyed because some officials are
greedy letting people outside country to destroy our forest to earn money. one of the most important things we need today as
a people is a beautiful way of looking at ourselves as Filipinos, a positive and healthy image of ourselves, a wonderful
